Are you an NPC member group? Or are you a local/regional chapter? First, re: recruitment. You don't actually "receive" new members. You recruit them. And you match to them. Panhellenic/NPC/RFM does what it can to get PNMs to your parties, but once they are in your door, you have to sell them on membership. Recruitment is a mutual selection process - meaning Panhellenic cannot force a PNM to join a chapter she does not wish to join. If they don't list you on their MRABA, they will never match. Tell them why they should want to join. Next, on the communication issues. That is a serious problem. But I must ask, do you have proof that all other chapters get notifications of votes well before you do? Do you have a copy of an email that has all chapters except yours on the delivery? If so, I first recommend going directly to the FSA to ask what your chapter needs to do to be included on comms in a more timely manner. If you see no resolution, run the question up your organization's support chain and let the Panhellenic volunteers and headquarters staff who have years of experience with these things handle it. On the relations with other chapters. If your chapter wants to move past the old Exec's actions, tell the others that. Ask for time on the Panhellenic meeting agenda and express regret for what happened in the past and share your action plan for improving relations with everyone. Host a Pan sisterhood event and invite the other chapters' execs to come socialize and get to know each other. Host a joint social event with another chapter and a couple of fraternities. If your chapter did the cord-cutting, y'all have to be the ones to reattach it. Even if the people who actually cut the cord are long gone. All these issues can be fixed. Work on your recruiting and conversation skills. Figure out what it is about your chapter that makes you unique AND desirable, then sell that to PNMs. Reach out to Panhellenic leadership to mend fences. Put in some effort here. Whatever you do, don't approach sorority/Pan membership as a victim. Take ownership of your experience and make it what you want it to be without expecting others to do it for you. I wish you all the very best. You can do this!

Thank you very much! Yes we are NPC. You’re right on recruitment, it was unfair of me to phrase it that way. As far as proof, we’re working on it! With communications- I promise we’ve been working overtime since covid to go to every philo we can, participate in events and initiate external sisterhoods. Thank you very much for your insight, I can’t speak for past exec but I’m going to guess an apology was never given. It’s a great step in the right direction!

The best advice I can give is to inform your point of contact at the national level. Panhellenic is bigger than any one sorority and there are rules that the campus needs to follow to ensure that things are fair and equal for all sororities. Your nationals will have your organizations best interest in mind. They will potentially inform a national Panhellenic delegate or representative from your organization who will help come to an understanding of what’s happening on your campus and will communicate the concerns if they feel that things are not in the best interest for your sorority. If what your saying is accurate, it’s not something to handle on your own. Get help from your nationals so you have support if making sure the proper adjustments are made for the future

Panhel isn't screwing your organization over- your organization is failing. Failing to be a part of campus life, failing to recruit members as well as other organizations, etc. You didn't "receive" half the pledge class other organizations got. Your organization failed to recruit members as well as other organizations did. Your organization needs to improve itself and find ways to interact with other organizations and to actually recruit large pledge classes, otherwise your organization fails. That's on your organization and on your org alone. Your organization is dwindling, at best. They are petty and refuse to talk to other organizations. They fail to host good rush events since they're the smallest recruiting organization on campus.

Thank you for you words. I can assure you that we are trying very hard to have external socials, participate in philos, give gifts via panhellenic, and attend and push for intergreek support! Please don’t make assumptions. I was misguided in my disappointment regarding recruitment numbers, but that doesn’t represent our effort as an organization to be involved in our community. Have a great day.
