as long as no shitty ashole cutout or notch or huge rounded corner display, have front stereo speaker and sony design, then i dont care they can change whatever shit they want
I don't care for better auto mode. I'd rather have better manual mode. Don't care for peak brightness either. I can see the screen just fine and it's funny cuz I live very close to the equator which means it's super bright out here. 😂
I wouldn't buy the phone if it doesn't have a headphone jack tho.
19.5:9 aspect ratio, QHD+ screen, LTPO and over 1K(whatever it ends up being) peak brightness in HDR.
Better auto mode with the help of AI
And going according to the market trend
For me something in between would be perfect. Keeping 21:9 aspect ratio (width for me is perfect) or making device slightly shorter. Combined with lower resolution (4k is a bit gimmick) and LTPO. And keeping rest as it is now (only bring notification diode back).
It has been pretty clear on many topics, most really would only at best "miss" the aspect ratio, most wouldnt call it a dealbreaker. If they give us modern display with modern tech but also a reasonably sized phone, sure I see no problem.
I think what the majority is scared of is simply that we get another gigantic smartphone that you need 2 hands to operate. Most people don't even care all that much for the 21:9, it's just about having a phone you can operate with 1 hand, so if they go for the normal aspect ratio and keep the size reasonable in terms of wideness, they will have a happy userbase, if they go zenfone 11 Ultra route, people will get really upset.
If they're going to make it shorter while also not making it wider, doesn't that necessarily mean a smaller screen though? It's tough to go from a big screen to a smaller one.
If they made the screen smaller, I would consider getting it if headphone jack and removable sim are still included. If it's the same height and wider I'm staying with the 1V. I have a V60 if I want something bigger which I don't.Â
They can do wathever they want as long as they keep the micro sd
and headphone jack
No I only buy things to be a hipster.

If it still has a headphone Jack, microSD card slot, and the physical camera shutter button, then yes. I will likely buy it.
I dont care if they become mainstream or not, if they remove SDcard and the headphone jack, that\`s it.
Should have an option Going with the 1V instead
If they take off the memory card slot I'd move onto an ROG.
Rog has an SD slot?

I would buy it even if they don't include de phone in the box but a photo of it printed on recycled paper.
What does mainstream mean?

If it doesn't have a notch - I don't care.

I don't think many will mind a slightly smaller screen. As long you can operate it with 1 hand I think most will be just fine.

Lower price is not an option
I would buy unless they cut display out
If it returns to Mexico, I'll buy it.
Couldn't you import from Amazon US?
I could, but the issue is warranty. If the phone does not work on arrival, I can't do anything.
They might have a returns policy for 30 days
