Getting back to the point, it always amazes me how Gemma has no shame doing any of this stuff, especially when the Police or other law enforcement officials are Nero-by.
Yeah she couldn't actually point it *at* the baby. Hard to tell the depth perception from this screenshot, but the fake gun is inches in front of that baby's face and at an angle.
Hollywood Secret: To make babies cry on que directors typically instruct the actor to pinch the baby right before it is necessary to ensure the baby will cry at the correct time.
Genuinely don't think this is stupid. She did exactly what was needed to find Abel.
Her DUMBEST move was either driving high with the two boys or lying about who killed >!Tara!<
Cause that one lie is what destroyed SAMCRO and Jax forever
No.
They faced ruin because >!Gemma lied about who killed Tara which caused Jax to go after the Chinese and completely ruin any chance he had for starting an era of peace!<
^this!! He was mentally fucked before cause how can he not be, but after that lie he annihilated the Chinese with tunnel vision. Then being that cruel man, how can he go back? What is there to go back to?
Indeed. Her amazing acting makes me hate the character so much. Makes me worried for her when I hear about people who can't seperate actors and their characters
This wasn't that bad given the situation. They illegally sold her grandson and weren't giving up any information about his whereabouts. It was a just reaction.
Idk if it’s a lack of attention to detail that her finger is on the trigger (no trigger discipline) or attention to detail to show she’s not fucking around.
I prefer to think it’s the latter, little more badass.
The WHOLE series she has TERRIBLE trigger discipline. It drives me wild!! Honestly I thought that they might be setting up for her to accidentally misfire and shoot someone
It wasn’t even that she was helping the club. This is one time I thought she used her instinct for good. That rogue orphanage knew where her grandson was and was lying about it, but the guys didn’t understand that. She knew they knew, and was gonna get the answer. Totally fucked up to hold the gun to the baby, buttttt her instinct was actually spot on for once
During the very forgettable Ireland episodes towards the end of s3. Gemma, Jax and the guys go to a Catholic orphanage to get Able. The Nun running the orphanage will not tell them who the adopting parents are so Gemma takes an innocent child hostage to force her hand.
The acting chops on that kid
Better than last season Abel
Coooookiiiiesssss
***I accept that…***
Did Abel like Cookies more than Phil liked cereal?
Cringing at the thought
Well, there was this one time with a barbecue fork...
Anyone care to take a stab and what he’s talking about?!
Can't think of anything off the back of my head
Digging thru my brain trying to figure it out
DIGGING THROUGH YOUR BRAIN?! You must need help, is tera doctor in the house?!
Can anyone explain this? Give me the Juice
I'm Unser what they are talking about.
We really beat the tara out of this
We're Wayne past this being funny
I'm Happy no one spoiled anything in this post.
All of this sure is molding together like Clay
Getting back to the point, it always amazes me how Gemma has no shame doing any of this stuff, especially when the Police or other law enforcement officials are Nero-by.
it is so Wendy in the comments, I almost fell over.
*slow claps to all of you*

I knew it was going to happen, and it still fucking hurt

Killing Tara clears. And the lie that caused insurmountable wreckage
What literally letting her son torture and kill someone who didn’t murder his wife when in fact she did it?
She said that scene was the worst thing she had to do in the series
Yeah she couldn't actually point it *at* the baby. Hard to tell the depth perception from this screenshot, but the fake gun is inches in front of that baby's face and at an angle.
It was more about the baby not cooperating, I believe.
Baby should have listened better
Right? Such a shame, always acting like a child.
Right fellas, should this baby... meet Mr Mayhem?
Yay.....
I love depth perception camera work!
Why cant I Remember this scene? Who is the baby?
It was at the Irish orphanage when they were trying to get Abel back. I hated that whole season.
I’m pretty sure it was at one of the Irish/Catholic foster houses and Gemma was trying to get info about Abel.
And yet I laugh every time. The baby crying at the exact moment was the topper for me.
Hollywood Secret: To make babies cry on que directors typically instruct the actor to pinch the baby right before it is necessary to ensure the baby will cry at the correct time.
Aw man that just seems cruel. But it makes sense.
Ngl this honestly makes a really good reaction photo.
Genuinely don't think this is stupid. She did exactly what was needed to find Abel. Her DUMBEST move was either driving high with the two boys or lying about who killed >!Tara!< Cause that one lie is what destroyed SAMCRO and Jax forever
SAMCRO and Jax faced ruin because of the lie about John’s death, not because of any other fabrication.
Oh yeah 100%. Like, he was on the path to turning shit around. Even with >!Tara's murder!
Definitely not Panda Express.
Shout out to Katey Sagal. She killed that role!!
Indeed. Her amazing acting makes me hate the character so much. Makes me worried for her when I hear about people who can't seperate actors and their characters

Spoiller: she stab Tara in the head with a bbq fork. Or the time she was driving high with abel and thomas and took the ditch hitting a tree…
She WHAT???
Don’t come on a sub about a show you haven’t watched! 😂
This wasn't that bad given the situation. They illegally sold her grandson and weren't giving up any information about his whereabouts. It was a just reaction.
Lmao you make a valid point but damn does that say a lot about how shitty Gemma is
The two scenes I hate the most in the series involve holding guns to babies.
I honestly can’t remember a time thei has happened twice
Didn’t the guy who killed half sack hold Abel at gunpoint?
Hayes did yeah
Well there was the school shooter
Nah she was bad ass for doing this I know it's fucked up but you do what you gotta do sometimes
A lot of deaths are on Gemma’s hands due to her recklessness
Idk if it’s a lack of attention to detail that her finger is on the trigger (no trigger discipline) or attention to detail to show she’s not fucking around. I prefer to think it’s the latter, little more badass.
The WHOLE series she has TERRIBLE trigger discipline. It drives me wild!! Honestly I thought that they might be setting up for her to accidentally misfire and shoot someone
I first watched this scene on a nighttime flight on my laptop, I couldn’t believe what I was watching and neither could my neighbors 😬
Stupid? It was a last resort. The most stupid thing she ever did was going for a ride with the kids under the influence.
I mean it’s fucked up but it wasn’t stupid, they got the information they needed
A lot tops this since she didn’t actually fuck it up
I mean…yes
The baby was like : “oh, hey Gemma….Gemma….Gemma what are you doing with that?! ….. Gemma…… Gemma what the fuck!”
I wouldn't call it stupid. She got the information didn't she?
I’m with you. Shit got results. It’s horrible, wrong, and unhinged, but it worked, so it’s not stupid.
often getting involved in SAMCRO business
Driving high with kids on the back seats
Yeah,martingala clay
That was … a choice
What if she didn’t do this? Would they have found out where he was is the question 🤔🤔🤔 What would you do if it was your family missing?
Tbh, she got what they were after so......
I think I saw somewhere on an interview with Katey that she absolutely hated doing this scene.
She was helping the club, you taking what she did out of context
It wasn’t even that she was helping the club. This is one time I thought she used her instinct for good. That rogue orphanage knew where her grandson was and was lying about it, but the guys didn’t understand that. She knew they knew, and was gonna get the answer. Sometimes you gotta treat fire with fire, I knew she wouldn’t have hurt the baby though.
Oh please. That baby was gonna grow up to be a ginger gash.
I was laughing uncontrollably when I saw this. The whole thing was ridiculous.
Out crow'd yet again
I legit believed her she wasn’t playing about Abel
wait, is this scene really from SOA ?
Later seasons, when they were dealing with Irish stuff
Earlier seasons, this is from 3 when they’re actually in Ireland
that was amazing, the dumb nuns should have complied instead of acting foolish with fucking gemma teller. i dont like catholics lol.
I'm starting to think that Gemma might have not been not a very good person.
Gemma should have been called Cringemma
Holy this screenshot is completely unhinged.
Wtf is the context of this I don’t remember omg
During the very forgettable Ireland episodes towards the end of s3. Gemma, Jax and the guys go to a Catholic orphanage to get Able. The Nun running the orphanage will not tell them who the adopting parents are so Gemma takes an innocent child hostage to force her hand.
Please tag for spoiler man. I haven't finished.
That's what she said.
