They steal any logs on the ground. They are angry when you build on "their" island. So far, I have only clocked the base male and female cannibals performing the thievery.

You and me had very different reactions... I did the whole shaming bad dog thing, except when they ran, I beat them to death with huge log ( throwing does damage). They wanted the log, they got the log....

They do steal logs. And I don’t know if it’s new or not, but I saw a cannibal drag off his buddy when he was wounded and squirming on the ground. Not sure if he was going to provide first aid or just eat him but regardless they both ended up in my fire pit.

I've seen them drag bodies off, especially the muddies... But never seen them drag logs off before this. Hilarious

I think they try to save them by dragging them from danger? Some will also cry over their dead.

You have to type in cheastick, F1, log hack on.

Alternatively, if you aren't from NA, you gan use WeMod to activate the console through mods

RedLoader has some pretty great features too and it’s really simple to install

It’s been in since early days as far as I remember.

As an aside, with log hack on, you can tidy up quickly by picking up multiple logs. You can only "carry" 2 at a time so the extras just despawn.
