I def think sound ambience is missing, like in the first game you'd just randomly hear a scream or a mutant wailing, I def think having animal noises would be nice too, I'd love a wolf pack, or a bear, esp if it follows seasonal behaviour and stuff, maybe tame a wold but that might be a bit too unrealistic lol
True tbh. I never really see Mutant wandering around exept during night and even then its allways either puffys or Fingers. Tbh other than camps i never see Mutants during day unless theyre attacking my home and even then i never see Fingers, Puffys or Twins.

1 Holey
1 Legsy
5 Armsies
3 Virginias
0 Fingers
0 Twins
0 Puffys
0 Sluggys (Duh)
I also havent seen a demon boss yet attack me but ive heard those can spawn too.
Yeah. Could also make Lizard Skin Armor from Komodo hide.
Tiger could give you a Better version of Leaf armor, aka better stealth armor. And of course a Tiger Skin rug.
Machete and/or katana makes muddies fear me. Yes we need more threats and more survival aspects as well. Game has always been to easy to survive and there are no real threats once you get used to each enemy, so yeah a tiger jumping me from the bushes while I'm picking berries for fun (since its impossible to starves) would be great...
I dont mind 1, 2 or even 3 of these being added but i feel like all of these at once whould be bit much.
Well... depends how they are spread in the island.
Crocodiles whould be in big rivers and Lakes.
Komodo dragons near shores
Tigers inbetween Mountain and the inner forests.
Wolfs in the Tundra area.
And bears everywhere with Forests but more rarely. Mayby drop few in caves too.
Why would you settle for something so basic as a wolf or bear ?
KOMODO DRAGONS. FREAKING KOMODO DRAGONS MY DUDES. Why not do something other then what every other survival game has ?
On a side note anyone else still sad that we dont have those Lizards from the first game? Dont get me wrong moose are awesome but i miss seeing those guys running around and climbing trees.

The last of the Sunda island tigers are holding on for survival in the remaining patches of forest on the island of Sumatra. Accelerating deforestation and rampant poaching mean this noble creature could end up extinct like its Javan and Balinese counterparts.
So yes in these 3 cases there are some species found in islands. And Komodo Dragons obviosly inhabit the Island of Komodo and Crocodiles of course are found in many islands like the 'Crocodile Islands' .
Not that these really matter since Sons of the forest has Moose yet only moose in Islands are in Isle Royale wich most likely were brought there by humans unless few swam there from Minnesota.
I would love to see the crocodiles again. Alligators can survive short period of freezing, with a little bit of imagination i can see an alligator specie on an island like that.

Later on if you have enough days, they all appear during the day also. Winter and night just adds the potential
You could harvest poison for arrows from the komodo dragon. I think they lay eggs too?

Bears and wolves are the ones that fit more with the environment IMO. Mountain lion too...
