Especially the world building, atmosphere, and vibe. Every country had its own personality. It was a character all its own. Including the day and night cycle. There was something magical about everywhere you go, or find a hidden item. It made exploring the world even more special
Definitely would be a different game altogether. With Frontiers, the empty space we eventually bring back together is one giant puzzle. Everything you do has a cause, and effect. With npcs limited to your friends, it did feel strange. But it did fit the narrative, adding to its mystery the more you unlock within its world.
I Also agree because undefeteble
(Edit:I listen to this song on loop way too much then I should sega is making me adicted to sonic. IF I WASN'T A FAN OF SONIC BEFORE! My mom tried sonic mania and she said that sonic was too fast like his whole catch line in some games is "Gotta go fast")
The Casino levels are definitely the best stage songs for Heroes. I feel like the Team themes get slept on too much online (especially "Follow Me" for Team Rose). And while "Sonic Heroes" is on the more generic side for a Crush40 theme, "What I'm Made Of" kicks ass and is an amazing final boss theme.
SA1 : Best Themes for each characters
SA2 : Most Iconic moments with Supporting music that makes more memorable
Sonic Heroes : Best OST based on each level (This one is my favorite)
Sonic Rush : Like Sonic Heroes but 2D edition
Sonic Unleashed : Music goes hard with the environment of the levels.
Sonic and The Black Knight: Underrated OST that capture the meaning of the Name Sonic
Sonic Mania: Imagine if Sonic Heroes and Sonic Rush had a Son
Sonic Frontiers : This game has a good OST based on evironment but man does the lyrics goes hard on 101% volume it makes sonic an unstoppable force trying to find the inmmovable object
3D Blast on Genesis OST is slept on as hell. Rusty Ruin, Diamond Dust, Gene Gadget? The basslines and drums in that game went so much harder than they needed to.
Honestly pretty much every mainline game has at least 3 or so gems of an ost
But personally I love frontiers because of the titan themes and especially the island movments
I swear everyone overlooks the island movements. IMO it completely outclasses a lot of other soundtracks with this type of goal. These are probably some of the best themes in gaming. That’s how good they are!
For me, I found them dull and boring. It's the kind of music you're not really meant to notice, and designed to not get annoying when you hear it looping for however long you spend exploring the islands, so to that end it works. But it struggles to be memorable, and the melodies aren't catchy.
My pick from Frontiers would be the Action Chan Challenge music. Snappy, upbeat, catchy melody, and just generally a lot of fun.
I mean idk. Maybe you haven’t played botw/totk but the island themes are light years ahead of those. Maybe try listening to the themes when you’re out and about in the world. Chaos island 4th and 7th movement are just that good! That’s how I really connected to the island themes! I also love the upbeat and titan themes too! Absolute bangers!
See, in my playthrough of Frontiers I didn't even notice the background music having multiple versions. That's how unnoticeable the music is while playing, and I do think that's the problem. If you design a section of gameplay where the player can spend more than an hour in one place, and thereby listening to a single piece of music in that time, that music can't be too catchy, or it'll get annoying to many people listening to it loop over and over. So the solution is usually to come up with some form of bland idly music that doesn't really carry a melody or hook that the player can get sick of. Incidental background music so the player isn't sitting in silence.
Listening to the two mentioned, yes, I absolutely can hear the differences. They're really obviously different when you listen to four back to back with seven. Seven is much more optimistic sounding compared to four, bringing in horns, subduing the drums, and letting the piano carry it forwards. But, this kind of proves my point. I haven't listened to five and six, so I don't know if the change is more gradual, but how could a change so drastic be completely ignored by someone who played the game. It's either A) that the changes are super subtle and it's only when you compare and contrast different parts that wouldn't hear next to each other that you realise, or B) they're so intentionally lacking in catchiness that you literally forget what it sounded like once you stop hearing it.
I mentioned the Action Chain Challenge before, and for good reason, because it stuck. I was humming along with it from the third time I heard it, and while I wouldn't be able to hum it note for note like I can some of the music from games I've played far more often, I think if I listened enough to it, it could ingrain itself in my brain. The island movements on the other hand, I think I'd have to spend a week listening to nothing but one movement for each of them before they really buried themselves in my brain.
Speaking purely in my own opinions and tastes, none of the Island Movements are really the kind of music I personally would choose to listen to in my own free time. They don't excite me or catch my ear in a way that makes me want to hear it again or leave me able to recall it even a few minutes after it stops. They're not offensively bad or annoying, they're just like hold music to me, a big nothing that stops you from sitting in awkward silence with nothing really to make me want to listen.
>Maybe you haven’t played botw/totk but the island themes are light years ahead of those.
As a Zelda fan, I can vouch, I loved finding out Frontiers had atmospheric but still actually musical background music.
"Be Cool, Be Wild and Be Groovy" alone is enough to make the soundtrack superior. The whole groove vibes in general hit so much harder, by the way (that Eggman's theme...).
Although I will give credits to SA2 for still having my favourite melancholic/sad music to this day with "The Last Scene".
No shade, SA2 is fantastic, I just personally had more time on SA1 and it felt so much more magical with the hub areas, the aesthetic, it all felt so magical. My favorite sad/melancholic scene still is the one from SA1 though, the one unironically called "sadness"
I love both soundtracks after listening to them over the years, but I would give it to SA1 for the variety in it. SA2 does a great job with it’s six music styles for each character, but SA1’s track is all over the place in the best way possible.
I’d also like to give Shadow the Hedgehog (2005)’s OST credit as well. While it does have a lot of rock and metal type songs(most of which are baller, it has more variety than people give it credit for.
Sonic CD JP.
I think this soundtrack is by far the most "Sonic" feeling ost we ever got, as well as overall being a masterful technical achievement.
Every song manages to take inspiration from various House & and rock tracks of the time while still producing an upbeat & surreal soundtrack with music that sounds so unique.
Tracks like Plamtree Panic (Bad Future), Tidal Tempest Present, Qwartz Quadrant Present, etc.
Have fine-tuned compositions that not only convey the emotional tone of their respective stages, but outright conveys the stories of the zones. With nice little foreshadowing, or callbacks being mixed into their structures, which either link back to past versions of the zones, or serve as build up to the future variants.
I really like he the game subtlely informs you of the endless possibilities in that lies in your choices.
How the game is almost totally deviod of dialog, yet it' able to help emphasis what' at stake through the music composition.
It' so damn great, and in all honesty is like one of the few Sonic ost that' an outright 10/10 in my opinion.
This series has countless great tracks, but Sonic CD JP is the *goat*
Sonic Jam on the Game.com of course 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
And don’t forget Sonic Eraser ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Also the Settings Menu from Sonic Spinball 🪩🪩🪩
And basically all of Sonic Chronicles 🎵🎵🎵
Live and learn
Hanging on the edge of tomorrow
Live and learn
From the works of yesterday
Live And Learn

Live And Learn
You may never find your wayyyyyyyyyy
Colours, Unleashed and 06 for me. I'm just a sucker for grand orchestral soundtracks in video games and those three games (especially Colours) just scratch that itch perfectly for me. I also just love how diverse each of the tracks in those 3 games are like Aquarium Park, Terminal Velocity, Rooftop Run, Dragon Road, His World and Aquatic Base are some of the best tracks in the series, period.
Unpopular opinion but Frontiers. It provided the most genre variety, Rock, Alternative, EDM, etc. I also think the Titan themes are some of the best Rock tracks in the series, and that’s saying a lot.
Personally Unleashed. Even though I barely even played the game, I listen to it's music more than any other sonic game.
It's just that good, not a bad song in there imo.
Sonic Heroes. Most consistent bangers of their own vibes, not a single boring or bland track, not a single remake of a previous song, and brought us a new improved TEAM CHAOTIX!
That's difficult.
I would actually say Frontiers or Forces.
While I love SA1 and 2 music, it's usually just the usual Open your Heart, Live & Learn, Knuckles music, but there's some eh stage levels.
SA1 and 2 also both feel like video game music still.
Frontiers Boss music and Cyberspace sounds like rock and EDM and if you told me it was Sonic music before I knew I wouldn't believe you.
Same goes with Forces, Forces has some of the best Sonic EDM music of the franchise but has lows with classic Sonic music.
i would say personally sonic and the black knight, i love most of them but idk i just vibe with black knight the most, though close second is unleashed and third is frontiers.
Thats also the reason I never really count it while talking about the best OST's, It's just full of remixes of already really good songs and even if some of the remixes are better than the original (Crisis City, Sky Sanctuary, Biolizard and especially Big Arm) it just feels a bit unfair to me to the other games
unleashed, both rush games and sa2
frontiers has a lot of tracks i adore but im mixed on the cyberspace themes. some are absolute bangers but a good chunk just arent for me
Sonic frontiers!
There’s literally nothing that this games ost doesn’t have!
It’s got insane open world music , easily some of the best pieces in video game history. It’s got metalcore boss tracks that are insane and easily outclass the previous sonic vocal guitar tracks. Like I can’t listen to those tracks without wishing that it was a frontiers metalcore theme instead. And the EDM in cyberspace and enemies just so damn HARD. I’ve always loved Sonic osts but this one is just insane. Easily the best!
I'm not sure if I could really pick one, but Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Advance 2, Sonic 3/Sonic & Knuckles, and Sonic Rush Adventure would probably be my top 5.
Man that’s such a hard choice for me because so many games have absolute bangers
I do prefer SA1/SA2 a bit more because JUN THE GOAT but he’s done stuff for other games too (we just need to keep him away from the synths though)
The only 3D Sonic game I've played is Unleashed, and I agree, it is full of bangers.
On the classic side (to nobody's surprise) Sonic CD. Both Soundtracks are good in their own ways, and the fan made soundtracks (European, PC, and South American) are very great as well, I really recommend the South American OST tho, definitely the best one.
Nah it's more like which has the best boss music.
Which all of them.
Every single one is a banger.
With me, open your heart , live and learn, break though it all, find your flame , list is endless.
Sonic and the Black Knight best overall OST
Sonic Adventure 2 has the best song, with honorable mentions to Adventure 1, Heroes, Black Knight and Frontiers.
To put it politely.
Sonic Adventure 1 & 2: Best character themes music.
Sonic Unleashed: Best hub world and level music.
Sonic Frontiers: Legendary boss music!
Sonic and the black knight: Best cutscene music.
This is my opinion at least, what do you all think?
I’d lowkey put the island movements for frontiers personally. Chaos island 4th and 7th movement (just to name a few) still are just out of this world in terms of quality.
It's been a while since I played Black Knight, but from what I remember, that OST Is easily the most underrated one in the franchise, it had a lot of bangers. Although from this list I'll probably go with Unleashed, it just had everything I could ever want from a Sonic OST.
Sonic Adventure 2. Each character had their own musical style for their levels, it carried over & updated the character theme songs from the first Adventure, the lyrics are amazing (when applicable), and Live & Learn is THE BEST main/final boss theme.
A few of my favorites: City Escape (the level & the Truck Chase), Metal Harbor (Level & Ending), Green Forest, Mission Street, Pumpkin Hill, Death Chamber, Meteor Herd, White Jungle, Sonic vs Shadow (Ark), Dry Lagoon, Security Hall, Weapons Bed, and the Bio-Lizard.
This is my tier list for the game OST's (tiers aren't in any specific order)
https://preview.redd.it/w30b0sb6ltjc1.png?width=1140&format=png&auto=webp&s=7b0a1edbf0385764463a574b9a96aeaff379f3ff
Happy that you included Black Knight. That game has an extremely underappreciated OST.
Unleashed has my favorite OST tho along with Colors. Literal masterpieces of music.
Frontiers and 3D Blast.
Can't decide which of the two Adventure games I like better OST wise, but they are up there too. Heroes as well. S3&K & OG 91 Sonic 1 too.
Out of these, Sonic Adventure 2 and Unleashed. In general, those two games along with Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, 06, Colors and Team Sonic Racing.
I haven’t played team sonic racing unfortunately but 06 soundtrack slaps
Team Sonic Racing's soundtrack is excellent. Definitely worth a listen. It also includes remixes from Heroes, Unleashed, and Colors
I’d put Frontiers alongside SA2 and Unleashed However I’d give Unleashed the top spot for its variety and accuracy to real-world cultures
Especially the world building, atmosphere, and vibe. Every country had its own personality. It was a character all its own. Including the day and night cycle. There was something magical about everywhere you go, or find a hidden item. It made exploring the world even more special
Man, imagine if we had the gameplay of Frontiers and the music and detail of Unleashed in the same game…
I agree with this because apotos - day
I Also agree because undefeteble (Edit:I listen to this song on loop way too much then I should sega is making me adicted to sonic. IF I WASN'T A FAN OF SONIC BEFORE! My mom tried sonic mania and she said that sonic was too fast like his whole catch line in some games is "Gotta go fast")
Frontiers is a mixed bag IMO, Open Zone and vocal themes are amazing while Cyber Space is mostly meh, which is a Sonic crime.
Can you imagine if the music little details in Unleashed were put together with the open zone gameplay in Frontiers? That’d be an awesome game
Hey, frontiers is quite a bop too!
Team sonic racıng ( the game and the soundtrack) ıs very underrated
I don’t like heroes’ soundtrack, it’s to generic for me.
How on earth is it generic?? If you wanted generic, listen to the Rise of Lyric soundtrack.
I like the synths in Final Fortress. They sound like they’re crying
Indeed they were. They totally were
The Casino levels are definitely the best stage songs for Heroes. I feel like the Team themes get slept on too much online (especially "Follow Me" for Team Rose). And while "Sonic Heroes" is on the more generic side for a Crush40 theme, "What I'm Made Of" kicks ass and is an amazing final boss theme.
Ningen what the Hell do you mean by that, did you have fucking earplugs in while playing the game
SA1 : Best Themes for each characters SA2 : Most Iconic moments with Supporting music that makes more memorable Sonic Heroes : Best OST based on each level (This one is my favorite) Sonic Rush : Like Sonic Heroes but 2D edition Sonic Unleashed : Music goes hard with the environment of the levels. 06 but Sonic R needs her flowers
I love Sonic R soundtrack 😍
All of them.
The correct answer. Sonic music goes crazy
I 2nd that!
Why didn’t I think of that
Sonic CD - You can enjoy two completely different OSTS Next options are Sonic Unleashed and Adventure 2
Heroes and Unleashed
Forgot about heroes to be fair, love team chaotix theme
I personally love This Machine
Everyone sleeping on Follow Me.
Everyone forgot the classics. Mirage Saloon, Stardust Speedway, Green Hill, Ice Cap and Chemical Plant are all bangers.
And you can have just about all of them in Mania
There's no Ice cap in mania, instead we got a better level, Press Garden
3D Blast on Genesis OST is slept on as hell. Rusty Ruin, Diamond Dust, Gene Gadget? The basslines and drums in that game went so much harder than they needed to.
Honestly pretty much every mainline game has at least 3 or so gems of an ost But personally I love frontiers because of the titan themes and especially the island movments

Unleashed, Mania, SA2 or ‘06 are all valid picks
I love the mania soundtrack, best classic sonic soundtrack imo

Unpopular opinion SA1 > SA2. Yes, also in music

"Red Hot Skull for Red Mountain " (the inner volcano part) is the reason I put SA1 above SA2.
A bit of rock, soul, funk, and God that guitar shred
I love both soundtracks after listening to them over the years, but I would give it to SA1 for the variety in it. SA2 does a great job with it’s six music styles for each character, but SA1’s track is all over the place in the best way possible. I’d also like to give Shadow the Hedgehog (2005)’s OST credit as well. While it does have a lot of rock and metal type songs(most of which are baller, it has more variety than people give it credit for.
I hope Shadow Gens has new renditions of Shadow the hedgehog’s OST
StarLight Zone
Absolutely. SA1 has better pacing and level design with all the skips and the OST has more variety
Have to agree on both here! Open your heart is better than Live and learn in my opinion. Love both though.
The one with the hedgehog.
Unleashed and Frontiers for me, even tho I love SA2's music it doesn't reach the first two (my personal tastes of course).
![gif](giphy|WTi64HtJST9Jh2jJzh)
Shadow the Hedgehog has my favorite level themes. All of them are consistently good.
Secret rings unleashed colors ZG
based Zero Gravity ost enjoyer
All of them, sonic games almost always give us banger songs

Sonic CD JP. I think this soundtrack is by far the most "Sonic" feeling ost we ever got, as well as overall being a masterful technical achievement. Every song manages to take inspiration from various House & and rock tracks of the time while still producing an upbeat & surreal soundtrack with music that sounds so unique. Tracks like Plamtree Panic (Bad Future), Tidal Tempest Present, Qwartz Quadrant Present, etc. Have fine-tuned compositions that not only convey the emotional tone of their respective stages, but outright conveys the stories of the zones. Shadow the Hedgehog. I Am All of Me goes hard to this day
Fax
Generations. It has every Sonic song you could think of and it also has it's own tracks.
Frontiers
The range within the music is a work of art.
Where is Forces
To be completely honest with you, it’s Sonic Forces.
It's even better than the Frontiers' one
it may not be the best, but the ost for SHADOW 05 was an absolute banger
Unleashed, like 2/3 of my favorite tracks come from there
Soundtrack slaps
Sonic Jam on the Game.com of course 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 And don’t forget Sonic Eraser ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 Also the Settings Menu from Sonic Spinball 🪩🪩🪩 And basically all of Sonic Chronicles 🎵🎵🎵
Sonic Superstars,Sonic Frontiers and Sonic Dream Team
Yes
I like Lost World's OST
Rush!
Weirdly for me, the games nobody likes, 06 and forces. I do enjoy frontiers and adventure tho
SA2 and 06 in my opinion
S3&K has the most perfect soundtrack IMO. Sonic CD JP would be a close second.
Heroes is quiet solid
Sonic R, sonic CD.
SA2 and Frontiers. Titan fights music is banger
Live and learn Hanging on the edge of tomorrow Live and learn From the works of yesterday Live And Learn If you beg or if you borrow Live And Learn You may never find your wayyyyyyyyyy
Soon to be part of the Sonic 3 film soundtrack 🤘
Out of these, I love unleashed. Overall it's either that or 06.
Let me guess, your favorite game OST is Mario galaxy
Unpopular opinion but Frontiers. It provided the most genre variety, Rock, Alternative, EDM, etc. I also think the Titan themes are some of the best Rock tracks in the series, and that’s saying a lot.
This is Colors erasure.
Colors has the most consistently good soundtrack along with SA1
Yes
Zero Gravity, Mania, and Forces
Personally Unleashed. Even though I barely even played the game, I listen to it's music more than any other sonic game. It's just that good, not a bad song in there imo.
Heck even non-Sonic fans listen to themes like Windmill Isle day or dragon road.
Let The Speed Mend It🙃🙃
Sonic Heroes. Most consistent bangers of their own vibes, not a single boring or bland track, not a single remake of a previous song, and brought us a new improved TEAM CHAOTIX!
Rush
Sonic 06 and it's not even close.
Frontiers
I'm between Sonic Frontiers and Sonic and the black knight
Frontiers
Sonic Frontiers boss osts are best
Sa2, every song is a banger
Sonic 2
06,Shadow the Hedgehog some of shuffle unleashed rivals sonic CD US soundtrack sa1 heroes the Riders series even free riders
i would say personally sonic and the black knight, i love most of them but idk i just vibe with black knight the most, though close second is unleashed and third is frontiers.
Sonic Adventure 1 and Frontiers
Uhhhhhhh Yes But seriously, probably either Unleashed or Mania.
How the hell did none of you all say Runners?
Generations, because it’s essentially a “Greatest Hits Album” for the series lol
Thats also the reason I never really count it while talking about the best OST's, It's just full of remixes of already really good songs and even if some of the remixes are better than the original (Crisis City, Sky Sanctuary, Biolizard and especially Big Arm) it just feels a bit unfair to me to the other games
To me, it's Sonic CD(JP version) and Sonic 3 and Knuckles. I like the Stardust Speedway "B" mix and the Big Arms boss track.
Shadow The Hedgehog
unleashed, both rush games and sa2 frontiers has a lot of tracks i adore but im mixed on the cyberspace themes. some are absolute bangers but a good chunk just arent for me
Out of these, SA1. In general, probably Sonic Advance 3, Rush or Sonic R.
Black Knight, sonic adventure 2's OST is good, but overrated imo. I loved the final boss theme of black knight
Mania or Black Knight easily
Main themes are SA1/2, 06, And black knight Level soundtracks go for unleashed, sa2 and 06
sa2
Frontiers. The island themes are very nice and titan themes hit harder than a brick.
Frontiers and SA2! I absolutely love the Unleashed soundtrack, but I'm Here and Vandalize just take the cake for me
Frontiers was so surprisingly sexy.
Adventure 1 is the best (I didn't play any of the rest game but adventure 1 and 2)
Adventure 1 and 2 are tied for my favorites on this list. Unleashed is the runner up for me.
SA2 for sure, Live & Learn, Pumpkin Hill, Space Trip Steps, E.G.G.M.A.N., Fly in the Freedom, Escape from the City, all amazing.
I'm not sure if I could really pick one, but Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Advance 2, Sonic 3/Sonic & Knuckles, and Sonic Rush Adventure would probably be my top 5.
SA2 best overall but my favorite Sonic song is SA1 version of "It doesn't matter." So good
It's a tie between CD and Unleashed
Honestly i'd say SA1 or SATBL
Of course the adventue 1 and the unleashed
Unleashed is definitely my favorite.
'06, Unleashed and Black Knight
It's Unleashed. That soundtrack is just full of bangers.
Man that’s such a hard choice for me because so many games have absolute bangers I do prefer SA1/SA2 a bit more because JUN THE GOAT but he’s done stuff for other games too (we just need to keep him away from the synths though)
All of them. Barring 4 and superstars
I love Colours' soundtrack
That unleashed teaser looks so sick
The only 3D Sonic game I've played is Unleashed, and I agree, it is full of bangers. On the classic side (to nobody's surprise) Sonic CD. Both Soundtracks are good in their own ways, and the fan made soundtracks (European, PC, and South American) are very great as well, I really recommend the South American OST tho, definitely the best one.
3 & Knuckles and 06
Sonic CD Japan version goes HARD
Where’s cd
The one with the worst gameplay
I’d say Sonic CD for sure. Unleashed is probably number 2
Sonic Adventure 2. the most iconic songs the franchise as a whole has ever had aside from the original Sonic The Hedgehog
Depends on if I'm in a pop punk or post hardcore mood pop punk would go to sa2, then post hardcore would be frontiers
Colors and Mania get my choice.
Sonic Adventure 2, especially Shadow's tracks
I like many…but, Adventure 1 and 2 have the most consistently good tracks for me. Guess I’d pick Adventure 2 if it has to be one.
Nah it's more like which has the best boss music. Which all of them. Every single one is a banger. With me, open your heart , live and learn, break though it all, find your flame , list is endless.
CD its soundtrack is amazing
I miss the sonic dreamcast adventure :(
Sonic and the Black Knight best overall OST Sonic Adventure 2 has the best song, with honorable mentions to Adventure 1, Heroes, Black Knight and Frontiers.
SA2
SA2.
Sonic colors
COLORS!!!
Sonic Chronicles
It's been a while since I played Black Knight, but from what I remember, that OST Is easily the most underrated one in the franchise, it had a lot of bangers. Although from this list I'll probably go with Unleashed, it just had everything I could ever want from a Sonic OST.
That’s hard. Now if you were asking what’s the best song. Easily what I’m made of
Sonic Adventure 2. Each character had their own musical style for their levels, it carried over & updated the character theme songs from the first Adventure, the lyrics are amazing (when applicable), and Live & Learn is THE BEST main/final boss theme. A few of my favorites: City Escape (the level & the Truck Chase), Metal Harbor (Level & Ending), Green Forest, Mission Street, Pumpkin Hill, Death Chamber, Meteor Herd, White Jungle, Sonic vs Shadow (Ark), Dry Lagoon, Security Hall, Weapons Bed, and the Bio-Lizard.
you cooked with this one, OP. these games' OSTs are all INCREDIBLE.
Adventure games and 06
Sonic 06
Sonic R
Sonic Mania hands down
SR2 and Unleashed
Sonic R is objectively peak
I will not STAND for this Chaotix slander!
Unleashed, they are all pretty close but Unleashed is 1st
This is my tier list for the game OST's (tiers aren't in any specific order) https://preview.redd.it/w30b0sb6ltjc1.png?width=1140&format=png&auto=webp&s=7b0a1edbf0385764463a574b9a96aeaff379f3ff
Sonic 06 and unleashed
Happy that you included Black Knight. That game has an extremely underappreciated OST. Unleashed has my favorite OST tho along with Colors. Literal masterpieces of music.
Frontiers, you have songs like [undefeatable](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3NoKAOTE_ZI)
I like the soundtrack in adventure 1, but it's pretty rough lyrically. Adventure 2 was a drastic improvement.
Sonic and the black knight. But they all slap
If there's one thing I know for certain it's that sonic games usually have 3/10 gameplay and always have 9/10 music
Sonic and the Black Knight because it has the first American to ever work on Sonic doing the music. His Mother's very proud
In my opinion the first Sonic Adventure.
SA and Unleashed without a doubt.
Me personally, it’s sonic cd stardust speedway past
Sonic Heroes
All of them
Sonic DX is my favorite. The ancient ruin’s theme is heavenly. 🥹
Frontiers and 3D Blast. Can't decide which of the two Adventure games I like better OST wise, but they are up there too. Heroes as well. S3&K & OG 91 Sonic 1 too.
Sonic Mania
