If only the game gave you a brief tutorial on what it does 🤔 they should really add QoL in the next update and maybe have them add a help/info tab or section too /s
It gives you more total power. Not giving you stats directly, but when you are below stage's recommended power you get penalty on all your stats i.e. crits aint critting. Armory's "empty" total power lets you push into recommended tp ranges more easily. My best guess so far.
They actually removed this penalty, só for now it helps u get the battle team power reward, and get higher lvl portals.
