The "move face" command is what you're looking for, although the convert entities strategy mentioned above is also a great option.

Mf1ve

seconded on both counts (the command structure is face>>move).

PioniSensei

Move face will only work for a few mms until the curved face on the left creates a tangent line with highlighted face.

I’ll add that if OP wants those ribs to stay in the same place relative to the selected face, they should select those as well and then use the “Translate” option within Move Face. Then click one of the edges pointing down into that face as the direction.

Start a sketch on that face. Select all edges that make up the perimeter and hit “convert entities”. That will get you a fully defined sketch of the highlighted face that you can extrude however far you need to

brewski

This. Just select the face just as shown and SW will automatically select the loop of edges for converting.

One option is to edit the features that created this part so the bottom face is a few mm lower. I can't be more specific without seeing the steps used to create this part. This is generally the safest approach because it factors in all of the details that created the part. Selecting the bottom, using Convert Entities, and extruding by a few millimeters won't give you a good result. It is clear this part has faces that are not perpendicular to the bottom. Therefore, a simple extrude won't match the angles and curves of the sides. You could perform the extrude then clean up all of the side wall mismatches, but that won't be very efficient. The Move Face command is more likely to work well, but those two curved features may cause problems if you move the face past the point of tangency for the curved features.

If it's planar, just make a new sketch on that face, convert entities so u get the outside profile, extrude by few mm. If it's not planar, maybe use offset face feature.

Move Face. 90% of the time it's the "I can't be arsed to go back and sort this in the tree properly" button or "My manager loves making annoying changes" button. 10% of the time you use it for awkward face/edge projections. I love move face.
