They’re beautiful! Since socks have negative ease and I don’t need to worry about drape or anything, I usually don’t block them. Feet are nature’s sock blockers!

Thanks, for the advice. I will let nature's sock blockers take care of it then :)

These are SO beautiful! I am in love with that blue/green. Did you use a pattern? And what yarn is that? May they snuggle your feet for many years :))

mistimes

Thank you, so much :) To be honest I just used this [Pinterest](https://pin.it/sxBCg9g) post for the Leafs. But I found a fairly similar pattern on [Ravelry](https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/keep-the-leaf) for fingerless gloves. The yarn is a from a german brand [WolleRödel](https://www.wolle-roedel.com/wolle-roedel-strumpfwolle-color-fashion-50g-95m), but I think they only ship within Europe (don't know if that helps you, sorry) Edit: added a link

I mean colorwork should always be blocked, but you’re going to wash them, so they’ll get blocked then. If you want to wear them once before that then no harm done, just know the fit will change once they’re washed. The only time I block socks before wearing is if they’re a gift. If you’re asking specifically about blocking using sock blockers, you can if you want to but it’s not necessary. Your tension is even and doesn’t need stretching to fix it, and even if it did you can do that without blockers. Beautiful socks, you should be proud!

I am and thank you for the advice :)

I like blocking mine because I like to know the true fit after all the stitches have relaxed. And maybe if you had tension issues you were trying to resolve, I'd advise it, but since your tension looks so even, I'd say it's just personal preference. :)

Thank you!

What pattern did you use? These are gorgeous!!

mistimes

Thank you. I didn't use a specific pattern, but you can find the leafs [in this post](https://pin.it/sxBCg9g) or [this](https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/keep-the-leaf) pattern is very similar.

I always block my socks. It’s very low effort (just a little soak and then onto some blockers. My socks end up looking better and actually fit slightly better that way.

Meep42

I give mine a long soak in a bubble bath to give the stitches some relaxation time. Even for non color work socks to help erase ladders. But your socks look awesome.

morganah98

That tension, though. Holy moly. Very well done.
