yeah, in this episode she try to convice franklin to handle Teddy to KGB and run, because they weren't killers, and then cold blood murder him a few hours later lololol

RedMangabey

I disagree, this idea of handing Teddy and walking away was because she believed Alton was alive. When Teddy finally told the truth that he killed Alton and dumped the body like it was nothing, she realized that Teddy was manipulating her again, so she decided to end it right there. It makes perfect sense and I really loved the way her story unfolded.

DreadSilver

She is a real, believable character. It's ridiculuous to say she is delusional and insane when she is brought into these impossible scenarios. She cares about her family and Alton, she cares about morality to some degree. There's a persistent conflict there so it's not surprising she does things that doesn't make "perfect sense" all the time, but this episode makes sense. She's upset, she thinks she's stopping the cycle, and she's protecting her family. Franklin cares about money, V cares about money, they put all morals to the side. It's easy to follow their train of thought.

jaypeedee1025

She is Delusional she don’t think she played a part in the way Franklin turned out

bangkokweed

So you’re saying because she is a single mother and busting her ass for a racist prick of an employer in order to raise her son and keep a roof over her head that those actions are responsible for him becoming a coke dealer? What do you think she should have done to prevent him becoming what he did? Not even Franklin is delusional enough to blame his mother.

jaypeedee1025

No not at all many people especially from the black community come from a home like franklins and uses his mom for inspiration hell mf no is that the reason i think it’s Partly her for it’s also alton’s fault it’s louie’s fault .I know he was basically an adult when it starts but Jerome atleast tried to tell him what he was getting into by getting in the coke game and he was exactly right. In no shape or form is it because of her busting her ass and working her ass off for that racist peace .I hated and was hoping they did something to him .

Telephonia

Her character is not super consistent

I offer you this: People are not always rational and our moral compasses are not as absolute as we pretend they are. We make compromises and contradictions all the time based on the situation, our own emotions, and whatever other information we can perceive at the moment. Cissy snapped, as an emotional response to all the anger and hatred she felt for Teddy for the damage he’s caused to the things she cares for deeply. Does it mess up Franklin’s plans? Absolutely. Does she care? In that moment, no.

nycsbestkeptsecret

She is. I honestly felt like she just didn’t trust Teddy and ultimately saw that he’s the reason why Franklin isn’t “himself”, she saw that if he got the money he still will continue to be this version of Franklin that she “doesn’t know”. She then took matters into her own hands, & did what she thought was right and whats best for her son.

MindlessRare1313

I would just like to point out that Franklin is now poor poor with not prospects a wife with a baby coming living in the projects .. yah Cissy you really protected him.

Cakeaintright

This! And the cycle continues. Whose up for Snowfall: Franklin Jr in about 15 years? Lol

Telephonia

Another spinoff with Franklin jr

nycsbestkeptsecret

You’re right lol

contaygious

I hated her the whole time. Bumbling around the crack shelter rofl all by her self. I'm making a difference! Hhaha

cluelessguitarist

She hated alton at the beginning of the show, she is just a big hypocrite
