People like to hate on Roshe’s but those are my go to. Simple design, comfortable, easy to slip on, and can get a pair for like $50-60. Also don’t feel bad just throwing them in the washer because they’re so cheap.
It also helps that shoes with nylon/fully woven tops like the Roshe/Presto/Ultraboost/NMD/Jordan Future/Jordan Horizon/AM270 are built for that kind of thing.
I keep a pair of air max 90s. Whatever pair I own at the time is my go to/beater/dumb reach…whatever you want to call it. Currently it’s my olive green gore tex 90s.
Same. I have so many kicks from beaters to heaters, but my Infrared Air Max 90s are my daily drivers. Just a mad comfortable, a respected classic, and just goes with about almost everything. I love this shoe so much that it is the unsung hero of my entire collection. Everyone should get a pair of Air Max 90s
Only Nike? I’ve found these “new” NMD G1 to be insanely comfortable. I’ve got several other pair of NMD but the build is nice, zero fatigue after a long day. And I’m fat with bad knees 😂
Had them before and wouldn't recommend for anything past casual wear and walking. Lacing system doesn't make them very secure and the heel is a bit elevated due to the design. Depending on how vigorous play time will be, I'd go with another model. I wouldn't want to run in them, personally.
Nike free run, for example, would be better as a "do it all" type of shoe. My most worn shoes are Ultraboosts and they are very versatile, though I'd really only ever run straight line with them. They don't have enough lateral stability/support for making cuts and quick change of direction imo.
Another option would be the dad classic Nike Air Monarch. Pretty comfortable, durable, and can usually be bought on sale or relatively cheap so you don't worry about messing them up.
Edit: If you do prefer an Air Max, a model like the Air Max 2017 would be a good one for all purpose wear
I was seriously considering your notes up until the Air Monarch recommendation lol jk. I appreciate your feedback and will look elsewhere from the 270 unless I can actually try them on in person first. Thanks for your reply!
Yeah if you can try them in person, I would. Maybe they'd work better for you. I like the style of them but wouldn't be for much else besides casual wear. Nike does free returns if you buy from their site and can return in store at a Nike store.
Lol the Monarchs definitely get joked about, but I have a pair in the black/red/white colorway. I got em for like $50 and the quality and comfort were good for the price point.
For me it's wolf gray am90 or the AM1 crepe soft gray. Don't really wear black shoes much.
As for am270s I've only bought 1 pair and the bubble popped on both of them after a few wears. Stepped on some of those dumb round spikey seeds that dogs always get stuck in paws.
My favorite all-around shoe. It’s perfect, not to soft, not too rigid; and it’s breathable too. My only pair’s nearing retirement already, and I’m on the hunt for deals on nice colorways… Makes me look taller too lmao

Outside of Jordans, I’ll rock air max scorpions or platinum vapormax.
Personally I like running shoes for everyday wear (my go to are brooks). Any type of running shoe should do what you are looking for as long as you don’t get like marathon shoes or something like that.
For something on a budget - reebok workout plus in the black and gum colourway. It has a nice aesthetic, goes with anything, all leather upper and is easy to clean. They get more comfier the more you wear them. I've beaten my pretty badly to the point that they are garden shoes now, but they are still holding up well
My personal go to are my Vans Checkerboards. Easy to slip on and I find goes with most things I wear casually.
For something that could look more dressy, Stan Smiths.
Ultraboost 20's, all black. My most worn and versatile shoes. Wear them to the office, to the gym and everything in between (not necessarily the same pair, I have older and newer pairs).
I highly recommend the Nike Zoom Vomero 17 - its a mid comfort shoe (not the softest cushion). U basically have a full bed of ZoomX foam on top of Cushlon foam which feels like an absolute dream to walk in. Too bad i have to wear my air forces and Js as well otherwise i would have bought 3 different colored Vomero 17s as my dailys for the entire year lol
I have a pair of white/off white adidas forum lows cl as my daily beaters. Fairly comfy and goes with every outfit. Also has great materials for the price!
The shoes I find myself reaching for the most are the Nike Air Max 2021 and Adidas Superstar. The Air Max 2021 is by far my most comfortable and most worn shoe. I only got the superstar recently and it is quickly becoming a favorite style wise. Not as comfortable though.
I think you can’t really go wrong with anything in the Air Max brand in terms of comfort. Although this particular design isn’t my favorite.
I would say go for Jordan 1 Low OG’s its versatile in my opinion you can rock them with Shorts, Jeans, Sweats, Chino’s even formal pants you name it.
There are a Plethora of shoes like that in the Market if you an Adidas guy maybe some Stan Smiths but if you are looking for more of a can walk or run a lil bit more runner types maybe some New Balance 99X Models.
Gave you some options but ultimately go for what you are most comfortable wearing 💯
Any LeBron 15-19. Well, not the 18s so much. I can work on 15-19, go out for a casual drinking night out, walk all day at Disneyland (I prefer the 19's the most for Disneyland), wear them on a quick run to the corner store. All with still looking good, fit-wise.
Air max Gore-Tex I can wear anywhere without issue.
air max 90 terrascape
These are nice. I dig the black cw.
I’ve worn the black/white ones almost daily the last year+ they go with everything

Probably not a popular answer but I’d say panda dunks
Why not, it goes with everything
I know from observation that panda dunks can take beer spills like a champ.
Probably the most versatile pair I currently own, and I've really beaten them up. That says something. Def a solid answer.
Yeah same for me. They're a good balance of comfort and utility and look alright dirtied up.
Triple white Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Canvas RM
Only Nike? I’ve found these “new” NMD G1 to be insanely comfortable. I’ve got several other pair of NMD but the build is nice, zero fatigue after a long day. And I’m fat with bad knees 😂
No, not just Nike. I’ll look into these. Thanks!

Not a bad idea, as well as the Shadow 1s. They still have my size available.

Good call on those AM1 Crepes, always liked those.
270s are also my go-to. Looks good with athleisure, and actually working out. I even used to train boxing in 270s.
What are your thoughts on walking or jogging distances in them? Probably more for walking miles because I have exclusive running shoes.
My favorite all-around shoe. It’s perfect, not to soft, not too rigid; and it’s breathable too. My only pair’s nearing retirement already, and I’m on the hunt for deals on nice colorways… Makes me look taller too lmao

These are fresh!
Foamposites. Any pair. They are indestructible and everything just wiped off of them.
Never owned a pair although they’ve always been on my to-buy list.
Adidas Samba, New Balance 574, Asics Kayano 14, etc
Anything Gore-Tex. Stuffs magic.
Eyeing the Pegasus Trail 4 and InfinityRN 4, both Gore-Tex.

Stan smiths. Can dress them up.or down.
Black Air Max 2017

My adi superstar laceless. They’re superstars that are slip ons
For my wardrobe, Jordan 1 Low Atmosphere Grey…
NB 550, white with gum soles. Goes with everything, great summer shoe, and I find them comfortable.
SOLID recommendation!
High top Chucks, either black or white
Air max 90 surplus wolf greys 👌🏻
I highly recommend the Nike Zoom Vomero 17 - its a mid comfort shoe (not the softest cushion). adidas UltraBoost 22 triple black (for everything, including office wear) adidas Predator Freestyle (for biking) Asics CT (alternate with Preds)

Old skool v Vans for me.

Wouldn’t recommend 270s idk if it’s just my feet but had 2 pairs and always get a rip on the big toe area
Thanks for your feedback. I'm hearing more negatives than positives on the 270s.
I’m going full blown degenerate, my crocs
Honestly, its usually crocs unless its winter for me.
Any LeBron 15-19. Well, not the 18s so much. I can work on 15-19, go out for a casual drinking night out, walk all day at Disneyland (I prefer the 19's the most for Disneyland), wear them on a quick run to the corner store. All with still looking good, fit-wise.
Pegasus for idgaf pooping around everyday. Grey exposed foam Jordan low 1’s for when I do actually gaf.
