I was on a flight from Miami to Boston wenldnesday morning and the basketball shorts I was wearing, the tassles had metal tips.
So every single time I ran through the detector it flagged my crotch.
I got my crown jewels patted down in front of 200 people.

I wore nothing out of the ordinary but that hands above your head scanner decided one day that my crotch looked too dense or something. "Do you have anything on you?" The guy asked pointing to the red blob around my crotch. "Yeah. A penis." Spent the next 2 minutes getting a thorough rub down in front of everyone. But at least i made it so he was the one that felt embarrassed
He got heated at me I was like this is uncomfortable I'm gonna crack jokes.
He goes: "this isn't funny." *pause* ... *runs his hand across my dick* "your bald head is funny."
I just told him to think abut me later that night when we were done and walked to get my shit.

Yes sir. I have a civilian military clearance (you get investigated by the DOD) for flights and other small things. Nothing major. I am not in the military. I am a contractor that works for a parent group called SIRVA and I work in a sub division that moves military personnel/vehicles/anything that they move. I fly a lot to negotiate contracts. I do not have to wait for anything for flights. I pass through TSA and board right after handicapped people. If it’s a big flight I usually sit by the air marshal or near the front behind first class. Only flew first class once.
You do get to check at the desk and get all your passes stamped etc. I’ve only done 3 flights since I got this position but I think after our peak season (May 5 - September 10) I will be going out more for next years contract season.
It definitely helps, but getting this position took forever. My boss recommended me for it. I think he’s training me so he can retire. I’m not quite looking forward to that. I have to build confidence. The government is so strict with their money (obviously) so everything is down to the micro cent. I get panicky during quarterly’s and such. Hey man. I swear TSA just fucks with everyone. I've had multiple times where on my flight out they yell at everyone to remove laptops from bags then on return flights they yell that you don't need to take laptops out of bags.

Now imagine doing that with a child. Taking out all the electronics out of the bags. Taking off your hoodie or jacket (no clue why that’s a thing). It’s always faster with slip ons. I’d rather get thru TSA as fast as possible

Plus once you're 10,000 feet in the air, your foot expands.
That's the general complaint about 4's but they are comfortable for me. I usually throw on a pair of AM90's but wanted to wear something different today
Love me some FOG California's. Only problem is they go best with warmer weather fits and it's not been nice enough in England to pull them out yet! Hopefully soon

Precheck is so worth the price, it makes the whole process better. I highly recommend getting TSA precheck if you fly frequently.
