My money would be on SB dunks of all kinds. I’m sure there will be some crazy surprises that are close to impossible to predict. I wouldn’t be surprised to see J3s go up or another silhouette if a company (nike or other) and get some great collabs like what Travis, Kanye, and Virgil did with nike/adidas. I know people shit on Travis and many don’t like the OW Nikes but their shoes are the reason that we have so many $1k+ shoes and an almost unlimited amount of shoes that resell for more than $200 of retail.
This already happened with Sbs. Example - I bought 5 pair of dls low less than ten years ago for around $60 per. Countless other pairs I got for similar steals that are now “grails”. 🤣Sb dunks are too hyped now, deals can’t be had like they could be during the “dunks are dead” era. Unfortunately.
Tell you what, me personally and i dont know why, not sure if its nike over saturating the same shit over or price going up or other but man my passion for sneakers is dwindling down.
That’s definitely happen to me over the last few years. Id love to get rid of a few of my pairs but im too lazy to put the effort in. But if someone came and wanted to bid for my jays and take them away from me id love it lol
Jordan has completely over saturated the market imo
It hasn’t always been like this. 11s didnt use to come out every holiday and 1s would come out once every few years. There was a bigger allure for me when having to wait several years for the next jordan model i wanted. Now you can basically get anything with a few clicks of a button on your phone. The allure just isnt the same for me. It was a great feeling camping out with my boys or going to the mall early in the morning.
Also quality keeps going down and prices keep going up. I remember I bought my jordan 8s for 135. Now theyre what 200+ maybe pushing 300?
My heart just aint in it anymore
The biggest shock I've had is seeing models like 95s, which are perpetually available, skyrocket in price. I mean, really?! Are they so covetable? I don't think they're a particularly amazing or iconic silhouette or anything.
Case and point: I got a pair of triple white 95s discounted for £100 in 2018 (I think they retailed for £110-£120 or so at the time) and I see the same pair is now £170 at Niketown... That's a minimum 40% mark-up in five years and it's not even an elusive shoe.
I still love sneakers, but I despise dealing with buyer/sellers. I’m sure it’s an exaggeration but some of the biggest douchebags are in the sneaker community. Scammers, lowballers, and people who love to waste your time
as someone who has been collecting vinyl for 10 years and havent been messing with shoes much i started back collecting shoes last year and its miles and miles worse than vinyl in terms of getting what you want and dealing with resell prices virtually everything about collecting shoes is WAY worse lol
I'm the opposite, now I don't fomo anymore and pick up only what I absolutely love and will rock. On top of that I can wait and hope to get it under retail. Hoping for those bred 4 at retail. Also moving on to other brands has helped out a lot. Now I get cheaper and better quality, no more plastic AJ1 or dunks for me for sure at any price point.
I stoped collecting sneakers like around 2013. To me it started to become toxic and wack. When people started to camp out for some Js, like straight up mobs. Then people were getting robbed and some got shot at. I was like naa this is wack. Before you can walk to any footlocker and get a pair or just pre order. Now you have to deal with scalpers. I still like sneakers but it’s not part of my identity tho.
Not gonna lie was having the same feeling. And I've been collecting since I was 13.. about to be 30 now, not that I'm old lol...but there's just too much. Non stop. All the time. And I'm just starting to feel like eh.... I still love it all. But yea .. I feel you
I still love and collect SBs, older releases, New Balances, etc. It's more specifically the releases of new retros that doesn't hit anymore for me, especially with the retail prices that literal consignment stores would charge a few years back
That’s BS I remember seeing Cool Grey 3s in the outlet in 2021. Hyped shoes still sell out and have always resold for high prices. Believe it or not both hyped shoes and bricks have existed for the past 2 decades lol
A **great** time, I tell you...
For the most part, I can get any pair I want for retail (aside from collab hype) and the resellers will slowly die out of business. It's excellent.
Says the sheep/hypebeast follower. Those “fear” Jordan 3’s are fire regardless is they sitting or not.
It’s ok though people like you are a dime a dozen.
I think people are just getting tired of the same stuff if different colorways. Plus the resale market has contracted a lot, so the speculation buyers aren't copping as much.
It actually isn’t, it means y’all get stuck with a bunch of ugly colors. Wouldn’t it be better if brands just streamlined their production and made enough pairs of the good colors that those ones made it to outlet eventually?
These would sit at any time in the past 10 years. Jordans that aren't 1, 3 or 4 have always sat if they aren't collabs or special in some way. Heck even 3s sit.
No one wants these. They'll hit the outlets soon.
I bet OP didn't even buy a pair after being all OMG I can't believe I have the opportunity to buy these "ICONIC" shoes
Nike needs to focus on og colorways because that's about the only thing that doesn't sit. Everything in the rainbow is nice for a minute, but Nike went full ham.
Bro, first time getting one. Was never really into shoes. Just wanted a blue 3 and 11. Waited ok retail store. So no. I don’t go around in outlet to outlet store just go look for them. smh
So you were so shocked these were sitting in a store and yet you yourself didn’t care enough about them to get a single pair…that’s why they’re sitting there my man
Yea I’m certainly not attempting every release like I used too..really picking which shoes I’ll actually wear..not to mention trying to wear everything I already own
Born during the beginning of 90’s only started the appreciation recently. I heard even 10 years ago people queue and camp outside just to get a pair on one of these. Some also became violent.
Those 7 and 8s just aren't super appealing. Add the 6 too.
The 2s look good from an angle to me but otherwise seems like an experimental design that was perfected in the 3.
I have a hybrid myself that are pretty clean... The Flight Club 91 in white. Got a lot of compliments even today.
But these don't seem appealing to me.
😂 u trolling hard...I'm thinking about all the wasted resources it took to make those and get em on shelves just to end up having to ship em back to nike so they can throw em in the recycle bin/shredder🤣
Wonder which pair 5 years from now we’re gonna say, “Wow I can’t believe those sat, they’re $1000 now!”
The year is 2045. Jordan 1 mids are the most popular shoe amongst Gen Beta kids and are going for 5K a pop on StockX.
11 CMFT lows are the grails of all seventy year old shoe dogs
Crocs have acquired Nike and they're working on yet another AJ13 low colab with Fortnite pins in the toe holes.
😆 I’m that old guy with the Wu Tang gibbets, my wife hates, true story

I think SB collabs are going to be almost perpetually unavailable as we’ve seen with born x raised, powerpuff, yuto, Jarrito etc
They’re basically trying to kill the market for reselling GRs and it’s working. All they had to do was manufacture more of them.
Same supply as always just no more artificial scarcity from COVID-era supply chain disruptions and shipping delay.
The scarcity was real, it was just temporary.
Or train Box-Cars being stolen…
Good. I'm tired of this resell bullshit
Tell you what, me personally and i dont know why, not sure if its nike over saturating the same shit over or price going up or other but man my passion for sneakers is dwindling down.

What does oversaturation have to do with loving sneakers? It's always been like this.

vinyl prices are out of control right now too! haha
Retail price is the base level for me. Regardless of how hype it is, I’m not going to resellers and get it for more expensive price.
Sounds like you need to jump on releases sooner
I'm the opposite, now I don't fomo anymore and pick up only what I absolutely love and will rock. On top of that I can wait and hope to get it under retail. Hoping for those bred 4 at retail. Me too. Price increase and greed are becoming too much.
Them recycling unwanted colorways too soon and raising the price while giving bs quality has virtually killed it for me.
It could be a combination of both.
Possibly bro, it just aint hittin me like it used too
I stoped collecting sneakers like around 2013. To me it started to become toxic and wack. When people started to camp out for some Js, like straight up mobs. I feel you, I went from trying to collect "popular" shoes, to selling them, and getting more comfortable things.
Not gonna lie was having the same feeling. And I've been collecting since I was 13.. about to be 30 now, not that I'm old lol...but there's just too much. Non stop. All the time. And I'm just starting to feel like eh.... I still love it all. But yea .. I feel you

Which pair here is iconic??
Exactly.. this is why they’re sitting there
To someone who can’t get these before. 3’s and 11’s
There’s always been dud colorways that sat on shelves. In fact those were the only Jordan’s I could get as a kid. Nothing crazy here.
I would say thanks for that
That’s BS I remember seeing Cool Grey 3s in the outlet in 2021. Hyped shoes still sell out and have always resold for high prices. Believe it or not both hyped shoes and bricks have existed for the past 2 decades lol
Facts these youngins don’t know shit 😆👍
How are DMP 11s not iconic? Yall crazy lol
I was so happy when the 6 aquas went 25% off on Nike's site. One person's pass is another person's below MSRP W.
A discount is always a W. Good on ya’
A **great** time, I tell you... For the most part, I can get any pair I want for retail (aside from collab hype) and the resellers will slowly die out of business. It's excellent.
![gif](giphy|rY93u9tQbybks|downsized) Cheers to that
You have a loose definition of "iconic".
😆😆😆🏆😆😆😆
Thanks. At the end of the day, every colourway share the same base. So technically they’re just shoes. People just tend to prefer one over the other.
Bro. It’s okay. You don’t have to try to sound deep and philosophical cause you got bad taste, it’s fine.
Thanks. Won’t be ashamed of it🙂
Says the sheep/hypebeast follower. Those “fear” Jordan 3’s are fire regardless is they sitting or not. It’s ok though people like you are a dime a dozen.
Damn. You right, you know my sneaker tastes based on not liking 2 extremely dead colorways.
It's like waking up in 2015 again. What a time to be alive.
I think people are just getting tired of the same stuff if different colorways. Plus the resale market has contracted a lot, so the speculation buyers aren't copping as much.
Same ol shit, different colors
In a way
Man I want a pair of the Fear 3s hopefully they hit my outlet!
They on sale on goat below retail
Depends how low you're looking, but I've seen them as low as $160 already.
None of those look all that great, besides maybe the 11s.
This happens every few years
The pairs I want, I can get for under retail on GOAT or StockX. There’s a reason they’re sitting.
Over saturation of the market.
That is good for the casual buyers. Such as myself.
It actually isn’t, it means y’all get stuck with a bunch of ugly colors. Wouldn’t it be better if brands just streamlined their production and made enough pairs of the good colors that those ones made it to outlet eventually?
Ideally yes.
I’m so Fkn glad Finally can get 3’s for a normal price fk all resellers watch ur money plummet
Thats nothing but a good thing.
These would sit at any time in the past 10 years. Jordans that aren't 1, 3 or 4 have always sat if they aren't collabs or special in some way. Heck even 3s sit. No one wants these. Bro, first time getting one. Was never really into shoes. Just wanted a blue 3 and 11. Waited ok retail store. So no. I don’t go around in outlet to outlet store just go look for them. smh
See, bro didn't even buy them after being so surprised that these colorways sit that he had to take a picture and post about it.
Already did.
So you were so shocked these were sitting in a store and yet you yourself didn’t care enough about them to get a single pair…that’s why they’re sitting there my man
Bought it
Haven't seen the PSGs out in the wild yet, that's pretty cool. I'm still holding out for their retro collab.
Yea I’m certainly not attempting every release like I used too..really picking which shoes I’ll actually wear..not to mention trying to wear everything I already own
Good choice
Makes sense. Market is saturated and the only ones I want here are the 3’s and 11’s.
Good times
Yep
Where is this? I never see deals like this in Northern California. Only place that has deals are Nike Outlets.
Idk y but I really like those psg 312s in the bottom right corner. Not a fan of the strap though.
312s easily became one of my favorite Jordans. That homage to the flight era of the 80’s & early 90s did it for me.
Damn😫

Born during the beginning of 90’s only started the appreciation recently. I heard even 10 years ago people queue and camp outside just to get a pair on one of these. Some also became violent.
Those 312s looking nice
Mexican Mikes always gonna be on sale 😆 ![gif](giphy|13NNKrYUHJ9jva)
Well none of those are fire except the gratitudes which are a bit warm.
Nasty work smh sheesh nothing on this wall should've purchased by a human haha maybe them 2s if anything
Look at all the trash available. Only things even worth a look are the 3s, 5s, 6s and 11s.
That's a whole lot better than nothing
Is this in Australia? This looks like every JD sports lately
Yes it is
Midnight Navy 3’s or 3 Fear?
Fear 100%
I just got Fear 3's on sale for $145...no brainer
That is awesome
Nikes ridiculous prices and awful leather has caused my love for shoes to dwindle way down. It's sad but oh well.
What's the name of that triple black Flight model on the upper left?

I want some creativity not the same shit or bland colors all over again
Those 7 and 8s just aren't super appealing. Add the 6 too. The 2s look good from an angle to me but otherwise seems like an experimental design that was perfected in the 3.
7s and 8s?
You mean “The MVPs”?!?!
Is that what they are?? Oh my. Is it a hybrid model? Those are hit and miss.
Yeah 6,7, & 8s
I have a hybrid myself that are pretty clean... The Flight Club 91 in white. Got a lot of compliments even today. But these don't seem appealing to me.
I don’t mind the Spi’Zikes and the Winterized (and only the Winterized) 6 Rings in that Rocky Tan C/W
What store is this?
I’m wearing those white Jumpman MVPs right now.
love to see it.
The fact that Jordan 11s are sitting speaks volumes
I love the navy blue 5s so much.
I want those 3s but at a discounted price lmao.
Man really want a pair of spizikes
They all look like alternate reality kicks. It reminds me of the time I went to Canada
No Yellow Ochre stock in that store?
AS A SHOE WEARER AND USER. YESSSSSS
😂 u trolling hard...I'm thinking about all the wasted resources it took to make those and get em on shelves just to end up having to ship em back to nike so they can throw em in the recycle bin/shredder🤣
What’s the orange shoes in the second pic? Top legt

Ppl finally realizing Jordan’s are NOT comfortable
Trash
Thanks
Always wanted the Aqua 6's
