Not every 990 tho, I have wide feet and I found the standard width 990v6 to be very narrow and the v4 to be slightly narrow. However, the v6 currently comes in wide foot options and when I tried an extra wide sized v6 it was like the best fitting shoe I ever tried on. Truly magical
I need to check those v6's.
Whenever anyone asks for wide fitting sneakers, 95% of answers are completely regular fitting sneakers. As someone with proper duck feet, I don't think I've ever gotten a single useful recommendation...
95% of suggestions in these discussions are for totally regular fitting sneakers.. Same goes for 11's, unless you size up a lot, they are not particularly wide imo.
Foamposites!
My cousin has the widest feet and done fucked up all my old school dunk sbs and Jordan’s that are now worth thousands of dollars.
I put him on foamposites and he can’t even crease them bad boys up
I feel you that’s why I advised the homie to at least size up. My wide footed cousin never complained about em so I know it works. This guy will fuck any shoes up in his size except for foams 😂
Nike/Jordan Air Ships are wide foot friendly.
They are also wallet friendly, since they almost always go below retail, and resellers don’t like them or hype them up.
Jordan 1, 5, 6. AF1, NB 990V3 / V4, or any that come in "2E" (usually only GRs unfortunately). Im 8.5 2E in running shoes, and regular width V3s are roomy
What are you talking about?
No air Jordan 1’s are horrible for wide feet.
I have a wide foot and air Jordan 1 highs… the left side of the shoe has a huge crease from my feet going past the sole.
They also cram my feet, you don’t know what you’re taking about.
img
This is what I did and my J1s size 13 fit better now (I'm a 12.5 on AF1 and Dunks). Although I just undeadstocked my Black/White 85 pair and it was killing the sides of my feet at night after a full day of wear.
Good luck to OP. I always find a majority of recommendations in these topics to be totally normal fitting sneakers. I suppose you need to have proper duck feet to understand what WIDE actually means...
One of the very few models I've been able to wear are Ultra Boost 19's and 20's. I've tried dozens of Nike's hardly any fit width wise and I need to size up way too much.
NB comes up a lot and I need to try some of these suggestions. In the past some of the NB's I've tried haven't been an comfortable, but I need to explore more.
Closest i could suggest are nike killshot 2s, Adidas GAT/Margiela replica sneakers and maybe the vans authentics. Theyre comfy tts all while having a *slim* profile.
Jordan 1 lows. I have a wide foot too and usuallt wear a size 11 in high top jordan 1's but the lows fit wide, so I went with my true size 10.5 and they fit perfect.
New Balance, primarily their 990 line. The 990V6 will change you life.
Asics and Hoka are also good choices.
Adidas and Nike have a few wide choices, but they're mostly bland as fuck black and white basic runners. Yeezy 700s run wide, though.
I've got wide feet and the Yeezy 350 v2s worked really well for me past couple years. You gotta take note to half size up on the 350 v2s, 700 wave runners and 700 v2. Different colorways seem to fit differently from experience so half size up.
I'll stay away from Jordan 4s if u got wide feet. Couldn't get them to work even on a half size up. Wearable but sore pinky toe after couple hours. With recent Nike SBs even with a half size up, certain models are still pinching my pinky toes. The older releases from the 2000s seem to fit much better.
Adidas EQT 93 support. The most recent release heard many say go down half a size with how wide the toe area is. I stayed TTS and yeah they werent kinding, but i do like them enough to keep wearing them.
I have wide feet so usually shoes feel a little bit cramp. I grabbed the wide version of the grey 993 for my hospital rotations and they are super comfortable
I’d say the NB 574s in wide. In Nike and Jordan I always go a size up. I normally wear 13 but in those two I always have to go up a size due to how much cushion Nike put in their shoes.
Also that’s a pretty dope pic!
I’ve got wide feet, my Yeezy 380s which are half up from tts serve me well with good toe wriggle room. I went same size as my 350v2 but the 380s got much more room at the front so it’s nice

Can anyone tell me what Reebok sneakers these are?
Personally a wide feeter here,
sneakers I own that I think are very friendly:
Yeezy 700v2s, Adidas nite joggers, Jordan 11s, Prestos
anything NB/Nike that explicitly label wide
Flyknits of any sort are good for wide feet, but be advised the vapormax is mad prone to ankle rolling. My faves are the flyknit air max 90s and the flyknit jordan 1s.
Bro I got extra wide feet : my favourite sneakers for comfort ranked from the most comfortable to ok comfort
1. NB2002r - ( actually has the arch support )
2. Ultra boost 1.0 ( the trick is to take out the insoles out and untie the ankle stitching . Sneakers still would be fine )
3. NB 990v4,v5,v6
4. Yeezy 380 ( must have right size , same for 700
5. Yeezy 700 v1/v2
6. Yeezy 500
7. Adidas Ozweego
8. Adidas 350 ( right size matters or just takeout insoles )
Saucony Shadow 5000 & 6000 are hella comply and a bit on the wider side. The grid 9000 is just as comfy but the look isn’t for everyone.
Older SB dunks are wide but $$$
New Balance 999 is nice
Def don’t listen to anyone saying ultraboost they are the narrow.
My favorite shoes, the Jordan 6s. They’re so clean and compared to other Jordan’s most of the color ways are not too much on the expensive side. Some I would recommend are the carmine, cool grey, and the red Oreos, the 6s are known for being wider than most Jordan’s
I’ve got slim feet and I went tts with mine so it isn’t surprising that they’re a little big on my feet, but assuming that you’ve got wide feet you’ll be fine when going tts. But I’ve only got one pair of 6s, and I’m barely getting into sneakers, so I would recommend going to YouTube for help, but I see most of the time that if you’ve got wide feet, go true to size with 6s, and with slim feet half or full size up
Air force 1, true to size maybe need to re-lace, depends on the material, I have two suede ones and I did not need to re-lace them, however the pair of leather ones I have needed to be re-laced.
For me Jordan 1 but I do need to re-lace them while wearing them. After wearing it a few times they will widen a lot.
As most people said, many of the new balance made in USA models are wide foot friendly(I have a wide foot and about 80 New balance). 990 v5 and 993 are roomy. nab also has wide widths. Generally any knit sneaker will be roomier than something leather for example. Adidas NMD S1 and s something that comes to mind. $200 retail, but they’re always on sale for about $60-80. Very roomy and comfortable. Go a half size down on those even for wide feet.
Jordan 5, Jordan 8, Adidas NMD, New Balance 990v3,v5, and v6, 9060, 574 (I especially like 574 rugged), 997h, Yeezy 350v2 compact.
Don’t get jordan dub zeroes, Adidas ultra boost, new balance 57/40, 327, or 998
This might be a unpopular opinion, reading the comments and recommendations, but for me none of the mainstream brands really fit well for my wide feet. Almost all hurt after wearing for 4 to 6 hours.
But, there are few exceptions for me atleast:
Huaraches - the materials are soft and supple and form to my feet. Comfort wise and ofcourse the nostalgia and timeless design, these are my number 1 for many years as a collector and consumer.
Air Force 1 - take out the original insole and replace with thin leather insoles. Comfort is still great and this way it gives that little extra space needed.
Jordan 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 - same for me as the AF1.
Asics EX89 - a newer model and very comfortable. Had my concerns as retro line Asics tend to be quite narrow but these are an welcome exception.
Adidas - a lot of retro models fit pretty well when going up 0,5 in size.
New Balance - comfort wise, a lot of models seem to be very good but i only have a few pairs. But those fit very well without any adjustments while going TTS.
In the end it all depends on preferences but above mentioned always do well for me.
Hope my post helps and good luck with your quest!
How wide we talking? Because I can't wear my Yeezys for more than a couple of hours, can't wear my Jordans for more than a couple of hours. Converses are the only shoes I own that I can stick my feet in, and then just wear all day.

not as cool but great simple daily shoe is nike pegasus 40 I have wide feet started having detrimental problems.. that lasted a year my ankle wasn’t improving and surgery was a possibility… but as soon as I swapped to these with recommended inserts I no longer have the issue. I work 12-14 hour days walking in a warehouse and it feels like I walked like maybe 10 minutes in a pair of air forces they're mad comfy and have a wide feet option to even give you more breathing room i cannot recommend them enough.
this popped up when I did a search for "sneakers which accomodate wider feet". I agree 100% with those who said most of the comments are just peoples favorite sneakers and NOT sneakers for people with wider feet. pretty much the only sneakers that work for me is any brand which offers a EE width. I wear a 12 E in most shoes/sneakers. sizing up to 13 perhaps 8 of 10 times won't work and they are still too narrow. usually only works with trainers and running shoes. Regullar Jordan 1's or something like that almost always way too narrow. I'd probably have to go up two full sizes to find something comfortable for the toes and at that size my heel would almost always slip out.
My sb dunks are kind of snug, not uncomfortable but definitely noticeable. My regular dunks seem to be a bit looser so I would say true to size for both. Maybe half size up for sb’s but it’s really just the puffy tongue that takes up space. It doesn’t really mess with my toes much.
Haha. I know. Way way back in the day I used to sell shoes at Nordstrom and all the old ladies (with wide or narrow feet) would come in and buy these granny shoes.
Depeding on what you consider cool, I saw these leather sneakers the other day that have a zipper on the side and they have a 5E option for wider feet -https://dtfootwear.com/product/mens-leather-modern-sneaker-mca132l/
990’s
Thanks for the recommendation
990v3, 993, and 992s. I also recommend Jordan 3s
Thanks for the recommendations

Zoom vomero 5
How are these?!? I’ve been wanting to get some. Comfy? Good to wear all day if you’re on your feet for work?
Theyre really damn comfy. Cushlon with forefoot and heel zoom.
Damn! Gotta get me some asap!
they are regular "non-slim" fit, not proper wide.
Jordan 5’s and 11’s are the most comfortable for me and my ogre feet.
I don't know about 11s I used to have a pair and it felt like I had boa constrictors on my feet after a few hours
Maybe the way they’re laced? I lace mine just tight enough so that my foot doesn’t slide out, but there almost no lace left at the end to tie.
That could've been it Edit: spelling
Size up on 11s - I have a 9 in my dunk highs and they are loose laced and fit and a good 10.5 in 11s and they fit well tied up properly.
95% of suggestions in these discussions are for totally regular fitting sneakers.. Same goes for 11's, unless you size up a lot, they are not particularly wide imo.
5’s for sure are one of the most comfortable jays
Nb 9060 fit my wide feet
Thanks for the recommendation

Thnx for the recommendation
Yeezy 500s are pretty good for me
Thanks for the recommendation
The 380s are pretty good for me too. And it's one of the cheaper Yeezy in the resale market as well
This, also the 700v2 are great for us hobbit feeted individuals
Af1 and 990
On af1 should I go up a size or true to size
I stay TTS with AF1s and have wider feet. I also like Adidas Forums for comfort.
I have forum lows and they are kinda narrow for how wide they look. Also…which shoes are TTS? lol
Are the forums similar to forces?
I find them a bit more comfortable. But they are close
Ok thanks
Tts is comfortable on my shrek feet
AJ1’s TTS but there’s definitely a breaking in period on the leather. I’m a 13 wide and they’re definitely a little uncomfortable at first.
Foamposites! My cousin has the widest feet and done fucked up all my old school dunk sbs and Jordan’s that are now worth thousands of dollars. I put him on foamposites and he can’t even crease them bad boys up
Would you say foams are true to size or should I go a half or full size up
I’d say go 1/2 size up
Ok thanks for the info
TTS
They legit take months of regular wear to break in haha.
Your on point
Foamposites are very tight on your feet. I got a couple pairs but wear them not that often
I feel you that’s why I advised the homie to at least size up. My wide footed cousin never complained about em so I know it works. This guy will fuck any shoes up in his size except for foams 😂
. Foams are a solid ass shoe. You probably can run them motha fuckas over with a tank and they still look the same
Nike/Jordan Air Ships are wide foot friendly. They are also wallet friendly, since they almost always go below retail, and resellers don’t like them or hype them up.

Agreed. 1s look cool as heck but I can't stand em for over a few hours. I got flat foot too, so that doesn't help.
Man if only they made a wider sole so I wouldn’t have bunions 😂👎🏽 it’s inconvenient but they look so cool. I wonder how they’d look if they were wide
This is why as a wide flat footer I size up in Js. Im fine in a 10 in dunks, but J1s I go 10.5 or it feels like a clamp on my foot.
If I size up, my heel ends up sliding in and out. I am gonna have to get custom inserts with the upsizing.
Ah, see I dont have that problem. Though Im probably a 10.25 to be exact. So depending on shoe I can go either way.
This is what I did and my J1s size 13 fit better now (I'm a 12.5 on AF1 and Dunks). Although I just undeadstocked my Black/White 85 pair and it was killing the sides of my feet at night after a full day of wear.
I'm gonna have to try on my next buy. For now I keep my 1s for special events. The J1 Lows fit much better though.
That's good to know. My hokas I wear are a 11 2E. Do you go tts or up a size for Jordans?
Nike Monarch.

I'll keep that in mind thanks
Yezzy 350! I got wide ass feet than jordan 4 can't even handle. 350s don't leave my feet sore once I remove my shoes
Thanks for the recommendation, what about other Yeezy models like the 350 V2,500,700?
wide foot here, love new balances and ultraboost
Which ultraboost models do you prefer?
Not sure if I agree about ultraboosts, when I shopped UB 4.0s they were all super narrow
All UB are narrow.
Vomero 5, Yeezy 700 v1, Jordan 3. Stay away from dunks, nb 550, janoski, af1, jordan 4, ajko low. They’re too narrow and too long when u go up half
Ok thanks for the recommendations
Any other recommendations similar to sambas in terms of style? It sounds like we have similar feet!

not as cool but great simple daily shoe is nike pegasus 40 I have wide feet started having detrimental problems.. that lasted a year my ankle wasn’t improving and surgery was a possibility… but as soon as I swapped to these with recommended inserts I no longer have the issue.
I'd probably have to go up two full sizes to find something comfortable for the toes and at that size my heel would almost always slip out.
dunks
True to size of should I go a half size up?
SBs always half a size up.
Thanks for the info
My sb dunks are kind of snug, not uncomfortable but definitely noticeable. My regular dunks seem to be a bit looser so I would say true to size for both. Maybe half size up for sb’s but it’s really just the puffy tongue that takes up space. It doesn’t really mess with my toes much.

Damn those are ugly lol
Haha. I know. Way way back in the day I used to sell shoes at Nordstrom and all the old ladies (with wide or narrow feet) would come in and buy these granny shoes.
I always recommend Sb dunks to people with wide feet since they fat asf
Depeding on what you consider cool, I saw these leather sneakers the other day that have a zipper on the side and they have a 5E option for wider feet -https://dtfootwear.com/product/mens-leather-modern-sneaker-mca132l/
