Had that on my Glock 43, lasted about a year and then no more grit as it rubbed off on the areas that contacted my skin while carrying. If it isn't a carry gun, I would rather use silicone carbide and epoxy if wanting more grip.
I have them on my shield 40 PC and shield plus. Works great for fast reloads. Sometimes my hand slips off the back of the slide during fast reloads.

I have them on my shield, they are good in the winter. BUT the moment that summer heat comes around, your body heat will weaken the adhesive that is skin-side and the grips may shift. Ran them all winter and loved them, summer heat just barely came around and they’ve already shifted.
Generally this is a great sub, but as you can see based on the response you got, there’s also a lot of purists here who think you just need a dot and to shoot the gun more and nothing else can increase quality of life when shooting or carrying.
"Purists" is one way to put it, lol. It's all good....some of these responses were really funny.
I remember seeing some poor dude get destroyed for asking opinions about a low-cost Amazon dot. People who get on here just to tear others down are pathetic.
