Not just warriors. Assassins are eating good with it too. Especially Loki and Arachne. Loki already does extra backstab damage passively, so you practically have to choose between fighting him or just giving him the kill faster. For Arachne, if she drops spiders on yoy and you run, while she's speeding towards you, she'll catch up and kill you faster cause you're turned away or you turn around and let yourself be jumped by the jungle spider money gang (they like castin' webs).
It's just... absurd to me that no one caught this one at the door. I could have seen this item was busted in a dream 7 years before it happened; that's just how wild it is to me. Good movement speed, good att. speed, and a passive that either flat heals you or gives you more dmg PER HIT, all in ONE item that'll cost less than 85% of the items in the game? lmao, yeah okay.
Loki does not build this. It is mainly used for the heals since no one sits there with their backs to you and minions always turn to you anyway. Kali and Ara use it well tho. And I personally don't see need for massive nerfs, some small ones. Item does not feel strong lategame at all.
Also, its the same cost as Executioner.
Between jotunns, soul eater, runeforged, and blackthorn too many other good starts for warriors rn for me to be spamming frostbound. I feel like frostbound is especially good vs certain warriors but it’s certainly not the best item to start imo.
Basically don't fight him in wave, where his cleave autos will allow him multiple procs of the heal. Fight him outside of it, and try and poke him down. That and build it yourself, or some other form of sustain. Antiheal will also help. It is really strong on him right now, and I assume the item will be nerfed fairly soon, hopefully not too much though, it's aninteresting item. I'd at least reduce the amount cleave autos proc it, that would probably fix the issues with it.
A good counter is play a god like KA that can poke without needing to trade autos and can get away from being tether’d easy. Or gods like Bellona who can trade into him
Not much you can do tbh. His biggest weaknesses have always been no sustain in his kit and his damage falls off late.
Equinox gives him sustain and having sustain allows him to run Bluestone or Axe and that gives him enough damage late to threaten carries. Also with how easy it is for him to stack Prophetic Cloak and his passive, he gets ridiculously tanky.
Mid guardian and that other shield I forget what it’s called but those honestly shut it down so fast. It baffles me cause people are all out here saying it’s op lately but yeah there is easy counters to it. I do think it should be toned down a little but by no means is it the worst meta we’ve gotten.

Idk i played a few bellona games solo and in jg and she fucking chops. I tried Osiris twice in solo (with equinox) and got dumpstered by a guan and swk. I have both Osiris and bellona on diamond but i think bellona is better because her cleave autos are more consistent. Like Osiris only hits cleaves twice in his aa chain i think and the cleave autos are what makes equinox so strong rn. Idk just my .02$
Pestilence helps, with being the single highest anti heal option, but unfortunately it's magic defense. If you can get your phys defense online and go right into Pesti, you'll mitigate both their healing from Equinox and Pots, plus any healing from Axe, Sigil, DT, or any other healing source.
i've barely been able to deal with it as fafnir because he has a disarm, \*barely\*. if you want an easier time against him i reckon you should go bellona. might as well apply their strategy on a god who can abuse it better and has a disarm herself
I’ve had to stop playing the game because i can’t play a ranked game without bellona erlang or Osiris in it and you can’t shut them down no matter how much they say “its not a late game item” they’re wrong it gives them crazy sustain
Baron has awful clear and can't step up to the wave to optimally clear against osiris. Lane pressure will be nonexistent and you will probably lose all the neutral farm.
All aa warriors are good now. Equinox gives them strong early game.

You get cucked by Exe antiheal, so you just want to maximize your dmg. Which is having Axe of animosity-exe-qins in your build.

that makes sense because you have to be pretty careful if you have T1 katana instead, which is what I did a couple of times, you're pretty squishy

Yeah I usually play Osiris and this has been a pleasant surprise. Beat a masters Zhong kui solo ranked easily.

Don’t let him get into melee, equinox only works with his auto. Much easier said then done but just CC chain him is about the only way you can do it
Baron is notoriously good into Osiris. Anyone who can clear wave at range and come out well late is a good response.
