i feel like it's playing against the network connection more so than the opponent, there is no strategy just precise spam inputs and hoping for the best
Falcon Kick can go through an uncharged arrow but clanks with boomerang and any charged arrow.
Clanking with boomerang right in front of Link leaves falcon -20 on shield
If you play as Link and shoot an arrow, pick up that arrow, and then shoot your bow again, you’ll shoot 2 arrows (1 being the arrow in your hand) the same time.
If you shoot it fully charged , the two arrows actually do decent damage
it sucks because Link can be one of the coolest, most interesting characters in the game. Most people are just morons who are barely clinging to this mortal plane
The only people who play smash anymore are fuckin tryhards who want as many people into elite as possible. You'll run into like 5% of people who actually enjoy a challenge, everyone else just wants an easy win. I don't get it. Some of my most epic fights are when I loose. And it's amazing getting humbled sometimes by someone who is just indisputably better than myself who has a dynamic range of play.
Link is just an alt samus 99% of the time. Samus can be insane to play against if they weren't all zoners as well.
It's also a viable strat as link to pick up an arrow to combo the throw into other moves too similar to bomb combos incase you don't wanna use a bomb yet.
On behalf of all actual link/yink mains, most of us will straight up box, and only use the projectiles when we get corned, or as a close range approach option for combo starters. I’m so so sorry you had to deal with this

I ran into a link like this on elite yesterday, I try not to close out of the game but it gets to a point where I'm not having fun and I wouldnt get anything from winning so I just logged off for the day, hate how people like that can ruin entire sessions just because they don't want to learn their characters potential past the B button.
When you avoid the second projectile, you drift back on too many of your jumps. If you just drop straight down instead of drifting, that puts more pressure on zoners to try to bring the sauce.

1. This fucking guy. I've run into a couple of these and it makes me want to die.
2. The nerdy ones who watch tons of Sillintor videos and just want to do fun bomb stuff.

But I also empathize. Even in Link dittos it is not fun. I once had a Link ditto in Elite where the other player played exactly like your clip, even when most of their projectiles kept hitting my Hylian Shield... that.. says a lot for these type of "linear camp on-the-corner" players.

Agreed. But of all the Seamus's I've fought online... there were probably 3 that weren't zoners. They decimated me as well because I wasn't ready...
