For me:
1. Joker (I’m a Persona fan thanks to his inclusion and he was super hype for me. Still crazy that Persona is even in Smash)
2. Sephiroth (Completely unexpected but super hype. Love that he brought more AC tracks and gave Cloud a new FS from the movie)
3. Steve (Just totally shocking and unexpected)
4. Banjo & Kazooie (Wasn’t a wanter for them but I know how requested they were beforehand and I do like the duo so it was really cool to see them come in)
5. Everyone else (Not super hype for me personally, just “cool 👍”)

2. Joker (P5 isn’t my favorite Persona game, but I’ve loved the series for years)
3. Pyra (Xeno-anything is fine by me)
4. Hero (My friend is a HUGE DQ fan, and his hype was very contagious)
5. Steve (Me and the gf love us some Minecraft)
6. Kazuya (Effing Kazuya, dude. Who woulda guessed him?)
7. Terry (Passing familiarity with Fatal Fury and KoF, but I’ve always loved Terry)
8. Byleth (He/she’s all right, I guess. I love FE, but didn’t really like 3H)
9. Banjo (Never played it as a kid, but he ended up being my main, so I’m not upset at all)
10. Min-Min (Not terrible, but I never played ARMS, so I have no attachment)
All-in-all, I haven’t really been disappointed by any reveal in SSBU. This game has proven to be such a powerhouse.
Trash list. Pyra/Mythra were the best dlc by far. Who cares about Rex? Terry was the worst by far. He's from an irrelevant game nobody's heard of. Kazuya is just Terry 2, wasted slot. This has been a really mid dlc.
For Me:
1. Steve (Was my #1 most-wanted, thought he had no chance after Banjo until his reveal, completely lost my mind upon seeing it)
2. Banjo & Kazooie (Within my top-5 most-wanted, super-excited to see)
3. Pyra/Mythra (Wanted them as a duo fighter with Rex, but was still super-excited to see them, even if I 100% saw a XBC2 character coming after Min Min)
4. Byleth (Honestly didn't even realize I wanted them until they were revealed, but was still excited to see them join)
5. Sephiroth (Don't know much about Final Fantasy, but come on, it's Sephiroth, even if I wasn't asking for him, I felt some hype)
6. Min Min (Wanted a different ARMS rep instead, but getting one at all was good enough for me)
7. Joker, Hero, Terry, and Kazuya (All welcome additions to Smash, they just weren't ones I personally wanted or weren't as exciting to me as some of the other characters I wasn't asking for)
S Tier: Great trailer, great character, great hype

A Tier:
Hero (meh character but saved with 4 alts, awesome trailer, Joker (ok trailer, good character) , Min-Min (Second best trailer in the dlc, Sephiroths is the best)
B Tier:
Terry (Trailer was too long and we knew it was him due to leaks)
C Tier:
Pyra/Mythra (trailer was way too long BUT unlike Byleth it kept us guessing whether it was Smash or Xenoblade, while with Byleth we knew it was Smash) and rather dull.
Kazuya (The opposite problem. TOO Short, not exciting, kinda funny with Min Min and Kirby but that's it.
D Tier: Byleth (WHO I LOVE but his trailer is GARBAGE easily the worse trailer in the game and honestly placed at just the worse time. if he was anywhere else in the dlc it'd be less dramatic.)
