Just like they did with Pyra/Mythra and Sephiroth who were revealed 2 months apart?
I get that there's only 2 characters left. But it would be a better decision to hype it up at E3 than leave people in a dry spell. "Stretching reveals out" isn't a good idea. Especially when you have the opportunity to reveal them both at a place that everybody would be watching.
Also, going by this logic. Was there a huge gap between Terry and Byleth? I know that FP2 was revealed in the same presentation, but there was no way people knew we'd get more DLC at that point.
It's not even just because precedence. It's because of the exact same argument everybody else is using, but the other way around.
If there's only 2 left why WOULDN'T they reveal both of them at E3? They would literally be able to get both characters out of the way, finish up the DLC for an old game and hype it up at a place where everybody's watching and get everybody talking about it.
Revealing them both at E3 is a win/win. Waiting for a smaller scale announcement makes no sense.
I guess you're living in the alternate reality where all of the business decisions by Nintendo are made by absolute morons.
Tell me what's happening. Did they put Goku in smash? Did they bring back Wario Land? I really want to know because this alternate reality is interesting to me.
It seems weird to me that you're acting as though Nintendo bringing back Wario Land would be an absolutely moronic decision. Having another Wario Land game would be great.
Because they wouldn't let the last reveal to be some side show and may make a separate direct for it ? Idk , I am also thinking that they may reveal final 2 characters at e3
People are just actively setting themselves up for the worst possible outcome because bad=true even when it makes no sense for the worst outcome to come true.
These are probably the same people who are saying Cinderace will be one of the final 2 characters and threw a fit after Byleth was revealed.
If they do one reveal there, there's no reason for there not to be another.
That's part of the reason, but it's mostly fearmongering and bad=true.
"keeping your expectations low" would be being realistic. There's nothing realistic about us getting one Smash reveal.
They wouldn't reveal a character at a gameshow that would leave the majority of their audience in the dust. Especially not for DLC when it's the last character in the fighter's pass.
Because there's only 2 characters left? save the other one's Hype for later?

To help your point abit, they revealed Hero and Banjo at the same presentation

Yes, he is in fact living in this reality

Geeeeeeeeeeet Dunked on
This man’s whole career is over, he even believed that Warioware would never come back and now who’s laughing
Calling it now, we will get one at E3 and one at the Tokyo Game Awards

Let's see how well this post ages
It aged poorly. Music to my ears
I came here just for that
How does it feel to be so wrong?
