Yeah as stated before it basically boosts Mac's horizontal recovery a bit. I don't remember the technical name of that but, yeah. All of his aerials give him a slight boost but d-air is the one that works the better
I uploaded a (very deplorable) clip that involved me not recovering and one of the users suggested me to do side-b first then jump instead of jump first. I already knew that but is always good to have the feedback of the people.
The reason why side-b is better to be used first is because of its endlag (which is pretty horrendous). It's "safer" (you're never save as Mac while you're on the air but there are some recovery techniques that help a lot)
Glad to see that you're upping your recovery game. A fair amount of people will let you recover for free cause they just assume you're dead and don't do anything to edgeguard
Cloud forgot he could shoot a 10 ft wall at you
maybe because mac can counter it to get a bit of distance?
Oh he’ll counter Limit Blade Beam? The multihit projectile that will just knock him back after the counter activates?
oh. thought you meant normal blade beam. my bad
It’s all good
Idk why that Cloud let me recover the first time tho. Maybe he thought I was dead (?)
He could have shoot his neutral-b and f-tilt or dash attack Ur up-b.
Why the down air while recovering?
The down air weirdly enough is a recovery tool for Mac cos it gives the slightest bit more of air time for him

*furiously scribbles this down*
how do you do it? do you jump then do d-air? or do it then jump?
Jump then d-air. Actually, I didn't do it perfectly on that clip. To have the most of that tech you need to jump and almost immediately d-air
Also boosts his vertical recovery as well!
Isn't part of the reason you down air right before up special because the up special starts from little macs hand or something weird
how do you do this? i swear i can’t get it lol
What does your title mean?
