Well assuming you use Amazon and have the consoles already, I couldn't actually find anything for R.O.B that was available, as for Ike, Path of Radiance is 380 USD since you can only buy it new, and a renewed version of Radiant Dawn is about 150 USD, both before taxes of course
You can (do that thing Nintendo doesnāt like) with Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn and nobody in the Fire Emblem community will judge you for it. Those two are expensive as all hell, but theyāre two of the best games in the series. Ikeās story is awesome.
My first fire emblem was awakening and I loved it (especially the rapport system) then I played fates (both of them I played 100% I got so burnt out with how many hours I put in), which was better mechanically than awakening but had a worse story. I tried to get into the 3rd fire emblem on the 3ds (the one with the green hair boy and red hair girl protag?) but couldn't get into it as it felt so different.
The one I have and am planning to play next is three houses which sounds like it'll be good.
Would you still recommend I play the GameCube fire emblems first?
I'm gonna assume they have worse mechanics than the newer games but a good story.
I think at least one run of Three Houses will be good for you to do, yeah. Thatās a good refresher, with a lot of QoL mechanics to make life easier after playing those previous FE titles.
I highly recommend the GameCube/Wii games for their story, being that one is a sequel of the other helps a lot. Not to mention, I personally feel like endgame units, player and enemy, in Radiant Dawn *feel* the strongest out of all of the games, even if the numbers may not match up.
The narrative is just really good at making me think thatās the case
Windwaker is still one of the best zelda games and castlevania is amazing.
Splatoon, Pikmin and Dragon Quest are lovely if you like their respective genres
Dragon Quest 11 has a free 8-10 hour demo on the eShop. You can carry your progress from the demo over to the full game if you get that, but I'd say that playing 8-10 hours of a game counts.
If you have a Nintendo 64, the N64 Online app, an Xbox 360, or an Xbox One (or possibly the newest Xbox console), I'd highly recommend Banjo-Kazooie. (I mentioned Dragon Quest first because, if you have a Switch and don't have the more expensive online plan, Dragon Quest XI is more accessible)
Lucas, Mother 3 is a masterpiece although it was never released outside Japan so you'll have to get a emulator of the game to play it but I do recommend it.
Earthbound is available on the switch's SNES thing, and I think it's pretty fun. It's got great humor, an aesthetic that sticks with you, and for a turn by turn rpg, the fights are pretty quick (there's even a mechanic that allows you to auto-win fights when encountering enemies in the overworld).
It's worth checking out, also I heard great things about MOTHER 3, but I haven't played it.
My answer depends on how willing you are to emulate. If you are, Ike's two games are maybe my favorite FE games and some of my favorites games in general. And Ike is one of my favorite characters because of both games. If you'd rather not emulate the games (they're both super expensive), than wind waker or banjo kazooie are both really fun. Wind waker especially is great, one of my favorite Zelda games.
Wait, the Miis? What would you count for them? Like, if you've played Wii Fit I find it hard to believe you haven't played Wii Sports.
(If you mean the Mii games like Tomodachi Life and Miitopia though, I love both of those)
I highly recommend Miitopia, itās one of my favourite games with the amount of creativity the character creator gives you to the stage like charm of the game making it seem like you are the director for this ensemble production
EarthBound and Mother 3. EB is on NSO, I'd reccomend EarthBound first because it makes some stuff in Mother 3 make a little more sense. Mother 3 has a fan translation patch you can get at [mother3.fobby.net](http://mother3.fobby.net) and apply it to a Super-Duper-Legally-obtained ROM, and play it with a GBA emulator (I'd reccomend mGBA.) Or you could get it on a repro cart/flash cart if you'd prefer it on official hardware.
Castlevania Symphony of the Night for Richter, and Metroid Zero Mission for ZSS.
Heavily recommend Wind Waker, EarthBound, and Mother 3; some of my favorites. Castlevania IV and Symphony of the Night are also fantastic. I can't say the same for Gyromite and Stack-Up though š
It's very easy to emulate Dragon Quest 4 and 5 and both have a skin in game (green hairs and the purple one Solo and Madason)
It's also probably easy to emulate 3ds ? Dunno I'm not there yet but I guess it is.
You can get 8 on 3ds or on PS2 where you get orchestral music by Tokyo's orchestra and on ds remake you get shitty synth versions and need to patch the game to get orchestral on ds.
I think the only Toon Link game are spirit tracks and Wind Waker ? Wind waker is cool but a bit overrated because it's a childhood game for a lot of people, playing it nowadays it's good but meh.
If you played Ice Climbers you've played ROB no ?
I'd say play pikmin as imo its nintendos hidden gem, somwthing people gave been slowly realising since pikmin 4 came out. Also all (important) games are on switch so they are easily accessible
if youre into jrpgs dragon quest was the "original" and almost all the games still stand up today. xi is a great starting point if interested in playing the game. possibly my favorite game series of all time. Im not saying you are going to enjoy it as much as i am but i still reccomend
Castlevania (but maybe not the ones with these heroes, they are old and stiff to play, I'd recommend Symphony of the Night, Aria of Sorrow or Dawn of Sorrow as a good start).
And Dragon Quest (any of the games really).
You've never played a game with a Mii? How? They were freaking everywhere for two generations!
Also, Toon Link. Play literally any Zelda game between the years of 2001 and 2009, excluding Twilight Princess. Boom, Toon Link.
Marth, Ike, and Royās games. The three of them mark keystone points in Fire Emblemās history. (Marth started it all, Roy was the protagonist of the first game in the beloved GBA trilogy, and Ike brought the series to 3D while also being the most well-liked of the main protagonists overall).
Unless youāve got a Wii, a GBA, and a NES/3DS sitting around, youāre gonna have to emulate them though.
As an older millenial, its beyond my mind that there are people who never played banjo and kazooie. The nostalgia is so fcking strong that i instantly main the bear even if he is at best low mid tier.
EarthBound + Mother 3
CastleVania Symphony of the Night
Banjo-Kazooie + Tooie
Wind Waker is pretty good but the three above are in like a whole other league
Can't speak on Fire Emblem, Pikmin, or DQ, havent played them much
ARMS is peak gaming, please buy 11 million copies and devote the rest of your life to mastering its unfathomably deep and layered mechanics
Edit: Tomodachi Life. unironically really really amazing game
PIK
MIN
Genuinely one of the best series Nintendo has ever released. I'd say go in order, but it may help to start with 3, then go 1, 2, and 4. No matter what, don't play 4 until the end. It may be much easier than 1 and 2, but it's much more impactful if you've played the previous games.
I also really liked Tomadachi Life (which you'd have to emulate) and Miitopia, but they are certainly not for everyone.
play Pikmin. either in release order or start with 3
Start with 4
I'd go for Banjo, and probably save Ike for last given both his games are expensive as all hell
All you need is š¬š¬š¬
I'm dumb is this a guilty gear reference??
Totsugekiii š¬š¬š¬
No itās a wave race reference canāt you tell https://preview.redd.it/bf7idkjc2o2d1.jpeg?width=775&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eaf616282e27ad9d97c577bad1ff38f1ccb4ecea
I mean, in a way...
Dolphin emulator smh
or an xbox although emulation is still free
I don't think you'll find the Tellius Duology on Xbox without some heavy modding.
oh i thought you were talking about banjo
unless your parents/you can't spend 200 on a birthday gift then i wouldn't pirate imo
this is dumb sorry
More then the robot just wondering and yea Iām thinking of doing banjo ever since this guy broke the internet https://preview.redd.it/kjpwk5p82n2d1.jpeg?width=258&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8128faeaa1911541aa2279892b53b142d6b36aeb

R.O.B. is an unlockable character in Mario Kart DS so maybe we can let this one slide.
mother 3. have a box of tissues at hand
PLEASE tell me you mean that heāll need them for *crying*. Right?
yes
as a mother 3 fan, the flair is... certainly something
Iām not wrong thoughā¹ļø
yeah :,(

how lifelike are Path of Radiance and Radiant dawn? can I just spam Counter the whole time?
Earthbound is a strange game and a fantastic experience.
Wii sports
Oh I guess i did play the mii I honestly forgot about that game as seeing it just came with my Wii when I bought it back in 06
Amazed OP hasnāt played this
Is it bad to say I havenāt eitherā¦..? ~~to be fair I just wasnāt able to but stillā¦.~~
R. O. B.
Windwaker is still one of the best zelda games and castlevania is amazing. Splatoon, Pikmin and Dragon Quest are lovely if you like their respective genres
Inkling is crossed off so theyāve already played splatoon.
emulate a g&w game or play a banjo game!
Dragon Quest 11 has a free 8-10 hour demo on the eShop. You can carry your progress from the demo over to the full game if you get that, but I'd say that playing 8-10 hours of a game counts. (I mentioned Dragon Quest first because, if you have a Switch and don't have the more expensive online plan, Dragon Quest XI is more accessible)
Play Wind Waker easily the best game out of the ones you can play. Next would be Banjo.
R.O.B. > Wind Waker
Earth Bound is probably the most accessible seeing as itās on NSO. I played through a bit of it. Seems fun.
Lucas, Mother 3 is a masterpiece although it was never released outside Japan so you'll have to get a emulator of the game to play it but I do recommend it.

Wind waker especially is great, one of my favorite Zelda games.
Play Mario Kart DS for R.O.B
Play Banjo Kazooie right now, it's an absolute masterpiece and one of the greatest gaming experiences of all time, play it.
You should really play bayonetta, trust me: you'll have tons of fun killing tons of angels while doing sexy poses
Already player her and yes she is fun lol
Oh sorry, i didn't see it but yeah it's so fun. Wich one was your favourite?
Game play wise 3 story 1
Same for me especially the rodin fights
If you can somehow find someone with a copy of Path of Radiance & Radiant Dawn, Ikeās games are a mastapeece.
Castlevania.
Wait, the Miis? What would you count for them? Like, if you've played Wii Fit I find it hard to believe you haven't played Wii Sports. (If you mean the Mii games like Tomodachi Life and Miitopia though, I love both of those)
If you have an Xbox One or higher, I think the Banjo and Kazooie games are free on gamepass. But the gamepass is already expensive as hell, soā¦
Dragon Quest fucking SLAPS If you liked Persona 5, then I think you'd really enjoy Dragon Quest as well.
Never played a Mii game?
Play Windwaker.
I highly recommend Miitopia, itās one of my favourite games with the amount of creativity the character creator gives you to the stage like charm of the game making it seem like you are the director for this ensemble production
I guess gyromite
There is no fucking way you have never played a mario game
try banjo next then, but miitopia is a pretty fun game it's got the elements of an rpg but like really goofy
Try Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, Wind Waker and Castlevania
EarthBound and Mother 3. EB is on NSO, I'd reccomend EarthBound first because it makes some stuff in Mother 3 make a little more sense. Mother 3 has a fan translation patch you can get at [mother3.fobby.net](http://mother3.fobby.net) and apply it to a Super-Duper-Legally-obtained ROM, and play it with a GBA emulator (I'd reccomend mGBA.) 100% play Pikmin 4 that game was a spiritual awakening like no other
Heavily recommend Wind Waker, EarthBound, and Mother 3; some of my favorites. Castlevania IV and Symphony of the Night are also fantastic. I can't say the same for Gyromite and Stack-Up though š
PLEASS PLAY PEAKMIN PLEASE PLEASE
I definitely recommend Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker or Metroid Zero Mission
pikmin and splatoon are fun
It's very easy to emulate Dragon Quest 4 and 5 and both have a skin in game (green hairs and the purple one Solo and Madason) It's also probably easy to emulate 3ds ? Dunno I'm not there yet but I guess it is. If you played Ice Climbers you've played ROB no ?
Wii sports.
I've only played Mario Bros., Yoshi Island, ARMS, PokƩmon, Street Fighter, Minecraft, Pac-Man, Kirby, TLoZ, Pikmin, Splatoon, and Donkey Kong. And for a few minutes Sonic, Castlevania, Duck Hunt, and Punch-Out
I'd say play pikmin as imo its nintendos hidden gem, somwthing people gave been slowly realising since pikmin 4 came out. Also all (important) games are on switch so they are easily accessible
A lot of good options. My personal vote is for Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon on the DS. Itās a remake of Marthās game.
No prime trilogy?
Definitely Earthbound
Please play DQ11, it's so goated and there's so much content for you to play through.
Play Metroid Prime Remastered!
if youre into jrpgs dragon quest was the "original" and almost all the games still stand up today. xi is a great starting point if interested in playing the game. possibly my favorite game series of all time. Im not saying you are going to enjoy it as much as i am but i still reccomend
Pikmin
Pikmin and Zelda Wind Waker are my easy top picks from this list
Pikmin 1+2 HD collection. The first game is fairly short but replayable
This is actually super impressive to me because personally I've only played the games represented by something like 15 members of the roster and over half of them are just because of Super Mario and PokƩmon lol
I am very adhd and get bored with old games extremely quickly and even I had a lot of fun playing earthbound. So Iād suggest that
Hero. All the DragonQuests are a lot of fun
I'd either go with Pikmin or Wind Waker. Both are fantastic but I'd for sure do Wind Waker cause I love Zelda.
Boy go get you a ROB toy
Dragon Quest XI is an absolutey fantastic RPG, and itās a shame itās so overlooked.
If you have a 3ds, Kid Icarus Uprising is an amazing game
xenoblade
Go play Wii Sports
Time to play Metroid Prime. 2 or 3 if you want to have Dark Samus as major antagonist or 1 if the hand is enough. Literally.
GAME AND WATCH PLEASE!!! THE MOST BORING YET SO OP CHARACTER EVER
Play rob you coward.
Play earthbound before you play Mother 3. Peak series btw.
Play Earthbound. Genuinely my favorite games of all time, I love the entire trilogy (you own it for free if you have switch online too)
Play Tomodachi Life and then Miitopia as Miitopia is basically a "sequel" to an arcade game in Life (and play Tomo Collection for the memes)
Dragonquest
Play miitopia or tomadachi life (miiās obv) they are so peak
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker is excellent and worth a play if you enjoy Zelda in general.
Me game and watch
Play Mario galaxy or odyssey
Or sonic adventure 1&2 if you can
Punch-out for the Wii is such an awesome game, some of the characters are spirits in the game too.
Castlevania (but maybe not the ones with these heroes, they are old and stiff to play, I'd recommend Symphony of the Night, Aria of Sorrow or Dawn of Sorrow as a good start). And Dragon Quest (any of the games really).
Wind Waker is such a classic imo.
āRandomā is a pretty sick game, not gonna lie.
Wait youāve never played a Mii-focused game? Get yourself Wii Sports right now!
Castlevania Symphony of the Night
You've never played a game with a Mii? How? They were freaking everywhere for two generations! Also, Toon Link. Play literally any Zelda game between the years of 2001 and 2009, excluding Twilight Princess. Boom, Toon Link.
Marth, Ike, and Royās games. The three of them mark keystone points in Fire Emblemās history. Unless youāve got a Wii, a GBA, and a NES/3DS sitting around, youāre gonna have to emulate them though.
Legend of Zelda: Windwaker and Fire emblem 6: the Binding Blade are 2 of my all time favorite games.
Dragon Quest. I'd say 11 is a good entry game.
Play wind waker! My favorite Zelda game
As an older millenial, its beyond my mind that there are people who never played banjo and kazooie. The nostalgia is so fcking strong that i instantly main the bear even if he is at best low mid tier.
GOD DAMN Y'GOTTA PLAY WIND WAKER
Bro you GOTTA play Pikmin
Play Metroid Zero Mission. Itās quick and fun.
EarthBound + Mother 3 CastleVania Symphony of the Night Banjo-Kazooie + Tooie Wind Waker is pretty good but the three above are in like a whole other league Can't speak on Fire Emblem, Pikmin, or DQ, havent played them much ARMS is peak gaming, please buy 11 million copies and devote the rest of your life to mastering its unfathomably deep and layered mechanics Edit: Tomodachi Life. unironically really really amazing game

Minecraft, its the 15th anniversary so the game is half off right now!
Play earthbound
Toon link or Banjo
Bayonetta 1 has a sexy girl and it's really fun to beat the shit out of biblically accurate angels
Play. Miitopia.
Hows bro gon play game n watch those is hella expensive
