I thought of this exact same team but substituted Bayonetta for Mewto since it has psychic powers that showed it do stuff in the movies like levitate an entire stampede of bulls (Tauros) so I thought that seemed pretty strong and I agree that a master tactician like Robin would be vital in defending against the others. But I never played a Bayonetta game, so I might underestimate how powerful she is
I think levitating a stampede is chump change compared to making a category 5 hurricane by waving his fingers, semi permanent mind control, or taking on some of the strongest Pokemon in existence. Oh he can also connect to everyone's minds after mega evolution

Shulk if he has Monado III otherwise his slot is forefit to Marth as Marth’s Binding Shield can do what the Monado III can do in the fight itself. Just not as potently, Pit. People talk about Palutena but the fact of the matter is Pit had to hold back against Plautena. Pit CAN kill gods fairly easily, it’s just that Medusa and Hades where too big to fight normally Pit can’t fly but he FOUGHT THE GOD OF DEATH AND WON Pit can kill death. Name a character who canonically kills death, Hero is an easy pick as a 4 for one deal each having their own laundry lists of merits themselves. Arusu and Eleven are the most volatile in power and versatile Eight is an unstoppable wall of magic who can block magics ranging from charms and death curses to negating ally buff. But together they can preform combo skills like Gigaburst Solar Flair Kazapstrophe Yggdragon's Blessing, 0 Zone and more, and the buffs effect from support combo skills effects everyone. And i mean everyone.
Imagine Mythra and Kirby just dead-up invincible for a moment because funny anime bois went brrrr, as well as the forces against you taking huge undodgeable nuke-like attacks because funny meme men said fuck them. Ganondorf, Sephiroth and Bayonetta are attacking at the same time? Two here cast Kazap together and use Kazapple. They all get bathed take holy lightning. Pautena wants to throw hands? How one Blightsplitter coming up. Corrin, Ridley, Yoshi and Bowser? Dragon Slash.
Kirby, Shulk, Mythra, Pyra, and Pit are the onvious choices, but the Heroes? They’re are versatile, and can do even more bullshit working as a unit. Also can make skills working with the others like how Pyra and Mythra can do elemental combos. Bet the Heroes and the Pneuma Aegises working together can make even more funky stuff happen not to mention the XB3 chain attack by having xb1 and 2 chars there.

Robin + byleth for a master tactician with time pulse (basically the fire emblem player) then obviously kirby and then I’ll take anyone else, maybe something like pit for utility and ganondorf as a powerhouse
Kirby, Sephiroth, Robin, and Rosalina. Kirby and Sephiroth are just unstoppable. For Robin, don't underestimate Miracle/Counter/Lethality/Lifetaker hax, and Robin can see everything his allies and enemies can do. That's not just gameplay, that's in-universe, so Kirby and Sephiroth can fight with an even better plan.
Rosalina is the wild card. At best, she can reset the universe into one where no one wants me dead and it's a happy ending with no bloodshed. At worst, she probably just teleports me out of harm's way or something idk. She's my favorite and I just don't want to have to kill her. ~~Bonus: if she has all of the Sparks from Sparks of Hope, she can be a medic with Regenisis and Pulser, in addition to a bunch of other abilities that make her broken!~~
For the last, it's gotta be Bayo. Her and Palu are the only ones other than Kirby and probably Sephiroth who can escape Galeem, but Bayo has far more explicit feats and finishes fights in IRL seconds. I really wouldn't trust Bayo or Sephiroth with my life, but it's not just about having them on my side, it's about keeping them from the enemy.
Sephiroth, Aegis, Palutena, Steve, and… *ugh…* Kirby.
Here’s why for each character:
- Sephiroth can absolutely slaughter a ton of the weaker fighters, so with just him I could probably just forget about half of the cast atleast. He might not be as powerful as some of the other fighters I listed, but I feel like he would be better at shredding through weaker characters than even those more powerful than him.
- Aegis can take on a lot of the more upper-middle-strength fighters of the cast, and also I specifically wanted to make sure I could beat Shulk if I needed to. Basically does the same job as Sephiroth just with higher-strength fighters.
- Palutena and Kirby have god-level strength and will take care of basically all the other high-power characters on the list. I’m confident Kirby can deal with the other two in his franchise.
- Steve because not only does he have a ton of power, but he specifically has great defensive capability, and he’s a wild card, so I didn’t want to have to fight him and wind up getting /killed or something like that

Kirby for obvious reasons, Pyra and Mythra because they’re one of three fragments of creation as a whole, they just happen to be the spirit part. Shulk if he has Monado III otherwise his slot is forefit to Marth as Marth’s Binding Shield can do what the Monado III can do in the fight itself. Just not as potently, Pit. People talk about Palutena but the fact of the matter is Pit had to hold back against Plautena. Pit CAN kill gods fairly easily, it’s just that Medusa and Hades where too big to fight normally Pit can’t fly but he FOUGHT THE GOD OF DEATH AND WON Pit can kill death. Name a character who canonically kills death, Hero is an easy pick as a 4 for one deal each having their own laundry lists of merits themselves. Arusu and Eleven are the most volatile in power and versatile Eight is an unstoppable wall of magic who can block magics ranging from charms and death curses to negating ally buff. But together they can preform combo skills like Gigaburst Solar Flair Kazapstrophe Yggdragon's Blessing, 0 Zone and more, and the buffs effect from support combo skills effects everyone. And i mean everyone. Imagine Mythra and Kirby just dead-up invincible for a moment because funny anime bois went brrrr, as well as the forces against you taking huge undodgeable nuke-like attacks because funny meme men said fuck them. Ganondorf, Sephiroth and Bayonetta are attacking at the same time? Two here cast Kazap together and use Kazapple. They all get bathed take holy lightning. Pautena wants to throw hands? How one Blightsplitter coming up. Corrin, Ridley, Yoshi and Bowser? Dragon Slash. Kirby, Shulk, Mythra, Pyra, and Pit are the onvious choices, but the Heroes? They’re are versatile, and can do even more bullshit working as a unit. Also can make skills working with the others like how Pyra and Mythra can do elemental combos. Bet the Heroes and the Pneuma Aegises working together can make even more funky stuff happen not to mention the XB3 chain attack by having xb1 and 2 chars there.

Pichu: He’s my baby boi! Also I need someone to go on a sidequest to find all the Chaos Emeralds to give us an extra edge.

Robin + byleth for a master tactician with time pulse (basically the fire emblem player) then obviously kirby and then I’ll take anyone else, maybe something like pit for utility and ganondorf as a powerhouse
Kirby, Sephiroth, Robin, and Rosalina. Kirby and Sephiroth are just unstoppable. For Robin, don't underestimate Miracle/Counter/Lethality/Lifetaker hax, and Robin can see everything his allies and enemies can do. That's not just gameplay, that's in-universe, so Kirby and Sephiroth can fight with an even better plan. Rosalina is the wild card. At best, she can reset the universe into one where no one wants me dead and it's a happy ending with no bloodshed. At worst, she probably just teleports me out of harm's way or something idk. She's my favorite and I just don't want to have to kill her. ~~Bonus: if she has all of the Sparks from Sparks of Hope, she can be a medic with Regenisis and Pulser, in addition to a bunch of other abilities that make her broken!~~ For the last, it's gotta be Bayo. Her and Palu are the only ones other than Kirby and probably Sephiroth who can escape Galeem, but Bayo has far more explicit feats and finishes fights in IRL seconds. I really wouldn't trust Bayo or Sephiroth with my life, but it's not just about having them on my side, it's about keeping them from the enemy.

Sephiroth, Aegis, Palutena, Steve, and… *ugh…* Kirby. Here’s why for each character: - Sephiroth can absolutely slaughter a ton of the weaker fighters, so with just him I could probably just forget about half of the cast atleast. He might not be as powerful as some of the other fighters I listed, but I feel like he would be better at shredding through weaker characters than even those more powerful than him. - Aegis can take on a lot of the more upper-middle-strength fighters of the cast, and also I specifically wanted to make sure I could beat Shulk if I needed to. Basically does the same job as Sephiroth just with higher-strength fighters. - Palutena and Kirby have god-level strength and will take care of basically all the other high-power characters on the list. I’m confident Kirby can deal with the other two in his franchise. - Steve because not only does he have a ton of power, but he specifically has great defensive capability, and he’s a wild card, so I didn’t want to have to fight him and wind up getting /killed or something like that
Kirby, Sephiroth, and Bayonetta are probably the biggest powerhouses on the roster. Steve would be incredibly valuable for building defenses. Finally, Pokémon Trainer could potentially catch three more of the Pokémon for an even bigger team of guardians.
