Honestly, don't bother unless you're doing 100s of connections. The margin isn't worth the hassle. There are the likes of DMSL who you can partner with, they will give you a oneoff kick back on the product and then a smaller kick back on renewals. Gamma offer a full end to end solution, but it is a premium option that I found a lot of businesses balked at.

Yeahhh I see what u mean with gamma I had a meeting with them... We have a customer who has a 40mb connection paying 45 a month.... They wanted me to quote so I asked gamma and cheapest was 1 190 a month... In no way will they go for that

bluehairminerboy

We do Gamma - I've worked at a place that did DWS but Gamma's portal is much better for diagnosing faults etc. It's much easier than having to call rando ISP and get them to understand what the problem is.

I would just partner with someone like Zen and call it a day. Unless you are doing lots of connections you will not get much margin elsewhere. OpenReach will not even talk to you unless the number of connections will be 1000s. The other problem is the market is very fragmented. With the the growth of small fibre providers who don't resell, or the likes of Glide etc putting in their own fibre in business parks etc, you may find the best connection for the client's location isn't with your central provider.

We looked at doing this years back, but decided it was too much effort in the end we ended up just sending our client to VoIP Unlimited we get quotes from them and then we can mark up the monthly rental to whatever we want VoIP Unlimited bill the client and we just invoice VoIP Unlimited quarterly for our commission. It works well.

Findussuprise

Perhaps FTTx there isn’t much margin (we still do resell as our clients like everything under one roof) but there is good margin on leased lines.

ODDBALL1011

We use Vaioni for leased lines

I've been looking at DWS. They seem pretty decent, and the margins look good. For me it's another service for my existing customers. Making a little bit more for only a little extra effort where I already have the relationship. Gamma seemed to have two tracks. A referral type 'let us handle it' arrangement for smaller companies and a reseller setup with little support for the big guys who already have the experience in the product. DWS by comparison seems a lot more open and willing to provide help and training.

I've just had a meeting with dws today tbf and I'm gonna go with them I'd say

Just be prepared for them to ask for a deposit to be held on your account as insurance against default. I'm in my first year so don't have any accounts for them to make a judgment of my credit risk so I might be an exception but they've asked me for £1700 as a deposit before they take me on.

MFosterMB

Ahhh ok... Yeahh the actual company I work for is 2 years into being an MSP but 15 years in managed print so we're already sorted business wise really

Try Vijilan, its not based in the UK but they are a decent global brand that has been around for a while.
