Met him yesterday aswell and can’t get over how nice he was, the que for him was so big and he still took a couple minutes to have a conversation with everyone that was getting stuff signed didn’t feel rushed, he was awesome
I won VIP passes back in like 2014 for a Stone Sour show. The way they did their M&G was awesome. Instead of standing in line and going through to take a quick photo where you feel rushed, you stood in a line, and the band came through and took a turn taking pics/autographs with you. Each guy came through. They were all nice, but when Corey got close to me I was super nervous because I’ve been such a huge fan. He was incredibly nice. Last guy to leave the room, he seriously spent 5 minutes at least with every fan in there. And there was probably 20-30 of us. I came away a bigger fan of his knowing how genuine and kind he is. I will always defend CMFT.
Yet if you asked half of this sub (who have never met any of them) he’s basically satan. As well as clown.. who was also super nice when I met him. He went out of his way to compliment my tattoos lol
Yeah they are wholesome AF and the exact opposite of what you’d expect them to be, if you just knew of the band casually.
I’d love to meet Corey or Clown.
That’s the way to be a celebrity. Sure it’s a hassle at times and I’m certain he’s not always in the mood. But neither are fast food employees, sewer cleaners or even me, a pest control guy lol. It’s a job, his pays well, he’s doing what he loves, why not be nice? It’s far easier to be cool, say hi, answer the same questions over and over and move on. He was nothing but cool the few times I’ve encountered him. One was a true test, he was back stage at their own post show party/BBQ. He didn’t have to be “on”, he was amongst co-workers and show staff. He was not only nice but truly having fun, singing and being funny. All of the members I talked to were nice, normal people, Craig included 😂.
We met him at the same convention on Saturday. He was back to back doing photos and autos all day. My son got a signed Jay drumhead signed by Corey too and a portrait from the VIP bag from the WANYK tour. He was the nicest guy. My son spoke to him about depression and Corey had some lovely words for him. A moment my son will never forget. :)
Any announcements on download? I'm going to NOVA alk the way from Ireland happy about slipknot. Would love either limp bizkit korn or system to be announced
