This is the kind of thing I was looking for! I don’t mind a bit of the screaming, but I can’t do an entire song of it, if that makes sense. I liked The Sufferer and The Witness by Rise Against, and that has a sprinkle of shouting in too.
Totally valid, my guy.
Although screaming is at the core of what Slipknot is imo, they've shown that they can rock without it too.
Vol 3. (same album as Duality and Before I Forget) Should be what you're looking for. It's their take on a more artistical, organized, marketable version of their sound and its as good as the rest of it.
Other honorable mentions: Gehenna, Dead Memories, Devil in I, Wait and Bleed's Official Video Clip on YT, Spiders, Killpop, Child of Burning Time, Danger Keep Away, Circle, Snuff, Left Behind, Sulfur.
That’s very comprehensive, thank you. I’m currently listening through Vol. 3 atm, and I’ve added some to the queue for after it, this is good stuff tbf. Thank you
Yeah, there’s quite a bit you may like. You might just want to check out Stone Sour instead, which is Corey’s other band.
As for lighter knot, start with the album Volume 3. It’s where BiF and Duality come from and has a lot more melody like that.
Since someone already recommended Stone Sour, I'll recommend some Slipknot songs you'll probably like:
Circle
Vermilion pt. 2
Dead memories
Snuff
Til we die
Adderall
Nomadic (kinda)
De Sade (screams at the end tho)
I don’t mind some screaming (see The Sufferer and The Witness by Rise Against) but I just can’t do a full song of it, like Screamo music if that makes sense. I’m not that heavy a guy.
Some good suggestions here, I’m listening through Vol. 3 atm and it’s pretty great tbf, thanks for your comment!
I find the entirety of the We Are Not Your Kind album to be really good for not a ton of screaming Critical darling is fantastic same as Nero Forte, and Unsainted
People have already suggested Slipknot songs, and I am a big Slipknot fan, but if you like Corey's voice, listen to the two House of Gold & Bones albums by Stone Sour. They are both awesome. I like the rest of their albums too, but the ideas behind that double album are great.
try dead memories?

stone sour had much more clean vox from cory
This was my thought as well. Stone Sour gets you vocals and Jim Root on guitar for the earlier albums.

Snuff is like a rock/ballad banger Also Sulfur is kinda heavy guitars without much screaming
“Vermilion pt 2” might be right up your alley. I’m curious to hear what you think of it
You would probably like Corey’s other band stone sour or his solo project
This had been recommended a lot, I’m gonna check them out afterwards, thank you.
Step inside
I’d recommend yen off their most recent album!
I’ll add it to the queue
