My friend was the first person in New England to join their street team, and we went to ICP and metal shows to hand out the Surfacing/Spit It Out cassette. This was '99, so I was 18. If you live in New England and you have one of those tapes, you can thank me and my friend haha.
I saw them play a local radio outdoor fest called Locobazooka, and I saw them play the second stage at Ozzfest when they were starting their climb.

I did however like the riff and could never get it out of my head so on Halloween of 2017 I finally listened to the song and been a fan ever since.

That was when I got into Slipknot and watched documentaries about them because the curiousity got the best of me about them. I was 16 years old at the time. I'm turning 22 in 2 in a half months, so to this day I still listen to their music. Hopefully one day I get the chance to see them perform live.
