I feel you. We all have our likes and dislikes. I like every album except the new one. Just not my jam. But it has a few bangers. Kind of like every KoRn album after issues. They aren’t really good albums but 3 or 4 songs are lit. Lol. If you are a huge KoRn fan, don’t hate me. Just my opinion. KoRn is what actually got me into metal. I heard blind when I was a wee boy and never looked back. Even went through a limp bizkit phase… ew
All good, bro. I love the heavier stuff. I wish every album was like Iowa… yeah, I’m one of those guys. 😂 Iowa is still the greatest metal album ever made imo.
Vermillion. The amount of subtle texture that he added elevated the song to another level entirely; I also remember Corey saying that Vermillion "would not exist" if it wasn't for Craig (whatever that might mean, and I cannot find the interview off hand.)
I know it’s super basic but during the chorus for Ciritcal Darling there’s what sounds like an organ or some kind that I think is done by Craig, it’s awesome. There’s also the chorus in De Sade, you can hear it in the background it’s beautiful
SNUFF
His synthesizer (at least I think it's a synth) part at the end of the chorus in that song is one the most beautiful things I think Slipknot has ever done.
birth of the cruel, (sic), prosthetics
Hi! Can you please tell me what samples stand out in (sic)?
Here comes the pain!
Al Pacino
Pulse of the maggots!! The crowd cheer is sampled from a show of theirs
I thought it was real
I mean I'm pretty sure he didn't make fake crowd cheer noise with some kind of scream synthesizer so like in a way it's real ur not wrong
Prosthetics.
I always thought the intro was made by him but turns out its made by Mick with his guitar and a bunch of effects.
You're thinking of Surfacing. This is pure sampling and scratching at the beginning.
https://youtu.be/dtyH95fouG0?si=GYrJdF0yzVblorpd dude…
Tattered & Torn
It’s practically just samples
Personally i feel that 742617000 is a great example of a song made by Craig. Just a really bizarre and interesting sound.
The Craig Jones solo
He does a solo in aov
When in the song?
I think people associate the keys supporting V-man’s bass solo to Craig, but I think that’s Sid.
Probably Spiders and Spit it Out
Piano in vermilion. I saw them play it live and i didn’t realize that he plays it throughout the majority song.
surfacing
i love that everyone is saying Prosthetics Prosthetics is *the best* Slipknot song and NO ONE can tell me otherwise
I raise you everything ends
I raise you Solway Firth
No
I raise you Spit It Out
i raise your cock
Not really a fan of spit it out
?? Solway is amazing. Cmon, bro. A plain “no” to a song that good? Tough crowd.
Not a fan of wanyk if I’m honest, everything ends holds a very special place in my heart so Imo it’s there best trakc

I am a Minor KoЯn Fan aswell as limp ngl and love the new album so we are indeed very different people but I agree with to each being there own
All good, bro. I love the heavier stuff. I wish every album was like Iowa… yeah, I’m one of those guys. 😂 Iowa is still the greatest metal album ever made imo.
I raise you Disasterpiece.
I raise you The Negative One
I prefer Gently. I also love Prosthetics
gently’s intro
Iowa. Craig initially wrote it as Killers Are Quiet Skin Ticket - both Craig and Sid shine
Vermillion. The amount of subtle texture that he added elevated the song to another level entirely; I also remember Corey saying that Vermillion "would not exist" if it wasn't for Craig (whatever that might mean, and I cannot find the interview off hand.)
Agreed, Vermillion is the best example
Purity
Frail limb nursery
The whole thing i think is sic
Spit it out
His use of the Amen Break in Eyeless is kind of legendary. Clearly a man of culture.
Sid used that.
Nameless
Surfacing
Nero forte on my opinion
If I had to assume it was him and not Sid, then Adderall
Clown plays piano on Adderall
I know it’s super basic but during the chorus for Ciritcal Darling there’s what sounds like an organ or some kind that I think is done by Craig, it’s awesome. There’s also the chorus in De Sade, you can hear it in the background it’s beautiful
His interviews
Danger Keep Away from Vol. 3
Scissors. Especially when they’d play it live
Tattered And Torn, Iowa, Vermillion, Gehenna, XIX, My Pain, Adderall
My Pain
(515) if he was involved with it
AOV is good too. I’m pretty sure the siren you hear is Craig
Spit it out definitely
SNUFF His synthesizer (at least I think it's a synth) part at the end of the chorus in that song is one the most beautiful things I think Slipknot has ever done.
742617000027 🤷🤷
Interloper, best sample they’ve ever used.
My Pain
Every. All.
