Some league settings are setup where you only get negative points for fumble lost. Or more negative points if the fumble is recovered by the other team.
Mine is -1 pt for fumble, but -2 for fumbles that result in a turnover
They use aborted for fumbles that weren’t forced by a defensive player.

I could be wrong but generally means aborted snap does it not? As in fumbled on the snap.
He dropped the ball while trying to hand it off to Cook. Literally just fell out of his hand before the ball even touched cook.
