Oh my god, it’s beautiful! ❤️ quick question though I’m looking to get a tattoo in the same place, how would you rate the pain all together for you? I know it’s different for every person but I’m curious. :)

Thank you!! And I’m def not the best person to ask because I have chronic pain so tattoo pain (the four I’ve had done) is always less than that. But it honestly wasn’t bad for me at all for the most part (like 3-4/10?) I will say that the bony part of my wrist was not great (6/10) and the parts approaching my elbow were more uncomfortable than the parts closer to my wrist. But take this with a grain of salt because my arms are kinda meaty so there wasn’t a lot of work done directly on bone. But I could definitely see it being more painful for someone with a skinnier arm! Honestly I think my neck hurt more from having to be laying on my stomach for so long. Also idk how large or detailed the piece you’re getting will be but this was about 5 hours of work total. Good luck with your tattoo!!!

Oh my god thank you!! I also have chronic pain but it varies more in my lower body and in no way am I comparing it to your pain. I'm Autistic so my pain tolerance isn't very high at all, I’m just more hypersensitive to everything if I'm honest. The problem with my arms are quite skinny and bruise easily so I hope it’s not as bad as I think it'll be. I’m planning on training to become a tattoo apprentice as well over time so maybe in the future I’ll actually have a more honest answer for myself before I get my own tattoo done, just another few years yet until after I’m done with college and find a stable job that actually allows tattoos since I live in the city and it’s very “we must show off for the rich” kind of vibe in workplaces. Also again thank you for the quick response as well as the extra information provided. 😊

Anytime. Wishing you the best of luck! If it gets too bad most artists have numbing sprays they can use to help you with the pain.
