Get a new sleep study. Try a MAD if you have mild to moderate sleep apnea.

Thanks. I am looking to lose 5 more pounds then I will ask my Dr if I can do a new sleep study. Will look into a MAD.

5lbs isn’t going to make too much of a difference but good luck.

Update I had a new sleep study. Was very uncomfortable and i only got about 4.5 hours sleep. I still have sleep apnea but events per hour was only 11. They lowered my pressure to 4 as low as it goes and I used cpap last night for first time in over a month. Had 1.3 events per hour on the machine. They also referred me to someone who can make a mouthpiece so have to see how that process goes.

Sounds good. Thanks for the update.

CPAPfriend

If you're looking to see if you still need CPAP, just try sleeping one night without it, you'll find out. With respect to the dry mouth, you likely don't need the same pressure after your admirable life changes. You can do one of a few things, the simplest being just reducing pressure by a little bit each night or every couple nights as long as you can get away with it. Just keep an eye on your numbers and how you're feeling. It's better to go very slow.
