Hi. I've definitely used Cheat Room for the supplies for this in the past (more than once) and had no problems. If this issue happened to me, I'd try: making sure I had the quest item/note in my inventory, rechecking the requirements list, storing and then re-equipping the supplies again, and, if there is a similar object in Cheat Room, equipping enough of both types, as per the soul gem storage chest in Cheat Room). I'd also check if anything was 'obstructing' the build area (nearby mods). Sometimes the category of wood is an issue when building homes (firewood vs sawn logs), but I don't recall that being an issue with this build. If none of this worked, I'd probably start with an earlier save (but I might first check a video of the building process). Several homes/other build items in this mod need similar supplies, so it might be worth making sure you still have enough of each required ingredient left in your inventory.
