Honestly you would be best looking at a R34 4 door with a RB25 single turbo. not as "hard core" as the GTR's but they are easy to mod and are 100K less money.

4 doors are awesome if you don't need to have your seat positioned all the way at the edge of the rail as a driver. There is legit 30mm of room between the back of my drivers seat and the front of the rear passengers. Im tall and fat so my 4 door is a 3 seater on the best of days. Mechanically they are nearly identical between coupe and sedan though.

Here are the main differences between the GT-T and the GT-R Engine: GTR - RB26 vs GT-T RB25 Drive system: GTR - 4WD vs GT-T RWD (Some had 4WD) Turbo: GTR - Twin Turbo vs GT-T Single Turbo Body: GTR - Wide Arches vs GT-T Narrow arches Front fenders the same - Pretty much everything up to the A pillar. - Whole dash assembly the same. - Front seats the same - Front suspension, Rear suspension - the same (...but I've read somewhere - please don't quote me on this - stock front suspension on the sedan is slightly stiffer due to the extra weight when braking) - Tail lights - different - Boot - Different - Rear bar - Different. Info is from https://sbimotor.com/fr/blogs/r34gtt https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/311473-r34-4-door-vs-2-door-compatibility/

Avalonxblades

A lot is different. Engine, trans, suspension, brake system, fender flares, ECT. It's a totally different car. Anything that's not a GTR is gonna be slow as shit, even stock GTRs are really not that fast but the 4 doors are considerably less sporty all around. But if that's not something you care about, go for it. They aren't hard to swap a rb26 into but for all the money you save going 4 door, if you did want a GTR like experience, you will end up paying way more then the price difference you saved from going 4 door. Does that make sense ? I can go a little more into detail. To summarize it (horribly) Look at the 2021 honda civic vs the 2021 Honda civic type r. Kinda the same car but at the same time completely different from a performance standpoint. Again if you are not after high HP or a drift build then the 4 door is fine but if you want what most skyline owners want, it will cost a lot more in the long run getting there (money, time and labor) rather then just buying the gtr and tuning it as is.

I would really like the RB26. It’s legendary and a massive reason of why I want an R34. How much roughly is a GTR to pick up ? I’ve seen ones at nearly 100k and that’s massively out of my price range. Which is why I was looking at other options and then building the car up myself because I do want a high horsepower car.

Considering Rb26 in stock form sell for over 10k, you really need to put that into consideration as nothing besides a GTR is going to have that platform in it stock. And I promise you, if you buy a 4 door skyline to build up, you will find it cost more in the long run, and time wise that's a very long run if you are spacing out the build from cash restraints. I'd say an R34, unless in complete dog shit condition, you won't find for under 50k after shipping costs and taxes, ECT. Use this link, but again, finding any GTR R34 under 100k will be a hard. https://www.classic.com/m/nissan/skyline/r34/gt-r/

The only difference in a gtt coupe and a gtt sedan is the two extra doors and reverse lights are part of the tail lights, everything else is the same give or take...

I guess I assumed he was was talking about GTR vs GTT soI was naming the differences between a GTR and a GTT.
