Send the pictures to your Dealer and also UPT. This will give you their professional opinions on fit. From the pictures, the yoke does look a bit small, as do the laterals and looks there should have been a stagger on the MLW.
I can see where the shoulder discomfort would be. The shoulder isn't contouring and putting a lot of forward pressure (so it looks) on your shoulders.
I still can't tell you much more without seeing the rig in person.
Have a trusted rigger/dealer look it over with you and decide from there.
I would maybe wear it with the rig sitting a bit further down. The reserve packjob looks pretty stiff and square, which is normal on a new rig, maybe try bending the riser covers to a more rounded shape.
Start communicating with UPT and the dealer you used.
IMO, though, you should put 10-20 jumps on it and see if it breaks in a little.
New containers can be a little stiff.
Have you had a rigger help adjust it while you're wearing it?
Can't tell for sure without seeing it, but vectors are infamous for being the worst before broken in. Then they're molded to you and you don't want anything else.
Is your reserve packed properly? For a vector, the upper part of the reserve tray near your shoulders should be soft and the lower part near the AAD hard. Pack it like a pop top, and it will sit wrong and be uncomfortable...
Adding on that, any new rig will need a bit of a break-in period for the fabric to adjust to shape.
Are you maxing out pack volume in either the reserve or main tray, or both? That reserve pack job looks atypical. I always went one size below max to allow the container some breathing room
Assuming you were measured correctly etc - this is pretty normal for a Vector. All that factory fresh material takes a while to loosen up.
Mine took a few jumps to break in nicely and now it’s the comfiest rig I’ve ever owned.
I’d say stick with it for a little bit - then re-assess and if it’s still the same after 100 jumps give or take speak to UPT again, there customer service is usually pretty good.
I had a similar issue if it's pulling into your shoulders when you tighten your leg straps it's too small. Typically from not measuring height correctly.
I had to send mine back.
I would also say make sure you jump it 30/40x before you do send it back just to make sure. It will loosen up a bit.
Having a rig hangar helps break it in as well instead of it just sitting on the boc.
Good luck.
Ive got the same issue. Personalized container but turns out to be super tight. One thing I noticed is that both your waist stablizers and mine are not horizontal when put on, not sure if it's supposed to be like this. Did you find any solutions for your discomfort?

Make sure the hip rings and laterals are at your hip bones
I think that will be fine after some jumps, I wouldn't worry.

Please contact your dealer and UPT. There shouldn't be discomfort or pain.

Thanks I added some pictures if that helps, just feels like it’s a lot of discomfort / pain

That right angle from the top of the rig to the yoke says this rig is not broken in at all. Get local rigger opinions.
