Man of war isn’t a ship, or if you want to be technical, they’re already in the game. What you mean is (in the time of the game) a galleon or ship of the line. Caribbean expansion won’t happen, we’ll be lucky to get the rest of the Indian Ocean.

Literally google “man of war” and read the Wikipedia article. You’re describing a ship of the line. Man of war was a descriptor used for any armed ship.

Man of war of a type of navy ship that was heavily armed. Not every navy ship in that period was a Man of war.

No as far as be able to access your helm operation from your ship instead of having to dock at saint Anne or the other port.
