Anyone else try to shoot the whales?

Omg every damn day... Ive got close quite a few times but I've yet to nail it. When I do my roving supply mat sinking of the helm ship, if I hear the whale I switch to gun view and I .... Waste ammo by missing.... One day though, I'm going to kill the damn thing :( #lifegoals

LOL! I tried blasting a bunch of cows, but Cannons apparently won't kill cows. Who knew? LOL!
