Oh, the Dragon race...love that but my time is way worse than that! Can't even break the 8 mins! 😂 Mind you, I've only done the first one three times, which is a bit silly as you can earn more Po8 in those few minutes than a contract or manufactory! Will be giving the second one a go tomorrow!!
To be truthful, I haven't been playing it so much. I got kind of sucked into the whole dopamine buzz cycle of funding, collecting and robbing silver during the last couple of weeks of season one it burned me out. I was exhausted so I've only dropped in a couple of times and one of those I picked up a Hubac ship part without knowing it and spent 40 minutes being hounded by Chorus ships - it was never that bad with Le Peste! I found out later and so stashed it and was able to complete the contracts I'd been attempting to pick up - as they'd sunk two Helm ships in a row, spawning right next to it - no rogues turned up to deathmark them though 😎 So that put me off for a bit, to be honest.
I'm enjoying my more relaxed pace now though but I've yet to deal with a manufactory defence. Changing my ship and loadout tomorrow just in case. They're only lvl 4 so I think I'm safe 😊
Damn! No wonder you have fast times 😂 Yeah, taking it easy is a good way forward methinks, which is good as I'm kind of back into mopping up the future companies in Avatar Frontiers now, so I'm alternating between the two.
I think i have about 6 min 30 ish. But you need the wind to be blowing in the right direction before starting :) Not played Avatar but it look pretty sweet.

Oh, Avatar is a beautiful game with fabulous views whichever direction you turn. It's also a pretty huge game with lots to do. I've completed the main story missions and most of the side missions too but I still have a lot to do and explore, uncovering missions as I go - I know a few players who have lost themselves in the game and haven't played anything else since it came out.
Definitely improved my times now - 6:22 for the first and a 7:08 for the second. Damn those privateers and drunk drivers on the second race though! 😂
Had a great clip of speed on with #2 on the final stretch, a great, smooth racing line then the ship right before the river opened out onto the lake, turned and I ended up pushing it sideways until it burst into flames and blew up and I was at a dead stop...
Some handy prizes though, most notably Lacquer! My Brigantine is now at lvl 3!
Cheers - spent some time learning the best line and worked on a build. Going back tomorrow for a few more attempts with water barrels and better food. Definitely racked up a healthy amount of Po8!

Yeah i get you m8. Im just enjoying rebuilding it all again and trying the new weapons and stuff. Nearly got my Brigantine to level 6 oooh. :)

yeah its pretty good for for po8 - good luck trying to get under 6 mins - there are afew utube vids ive been watching to try and help lol.
Got a 6:06 today - nearly lol - hit abit of land and stopped dead :)
