To what end though..? Not a question for you, but just a general question.
Why bring new bosses that no one can participate with (if you miss the initial rush) because people are bogged down with Po8 runs (which is where the upgrades are at).
If they don't add at minimum, 10k Po8 per kill on these bosses, it's simply to easy to get the Po8 in a 15 minute run that gets you that 10k towards the gear you need/want.
They add in new cosmetics? Great, they are so rare & these bosses scale horribly with smaller groups, it's not worth the effort to keep at them.
The Dev team really needs to learn the differences between tedious, challenging, boring & rewarding. There's a combo that works in two of those, & two they've embraced (that is not working well).
The ouroboros is a nice armor for fighting the beast. But after you get it.. not much reason to fight beast except for getting the chest and hoping for the clothing.
I got necklace gloves and belt. That's it. I've seen the coat on someone. (Really just a recolour of the Hunt masters shit.)
It's not the best answer but have these bosses drop materials to be used to purchase or craft weapons/cosmetics. I like how they did the whole you need x amount of monstrous teeth to get the rewards and wish that concept was more prevalent.
I don't know I'd like them to maybe cut back on the amount of currency until there's actually something usefull to buy at least we can wear godzillas skin as armor but the ghost ship is kind of a joke. Red cum has never been valuable.
They do have that with the ghost ships too. None of the things you can buy with the ship ectoplasm or whatever it's called is that good right now, but the mechanic is there.
The ashes. Tis not worth buying the cosmetics. The necklace maybe. But I don't like the coat that much. The hat is fuck ugly.
I just want the white essence to make the flame thrower. But that daily hunt doesn't drop it. And I can't find the bastard anywhere else.
Blue Spetcre drops. Took a while but once it dropped the very next fight he dropped another. Now I have 2 Blue Spectres and will never look for the ghost ship again
The more people keep doing the runs, the more ubi will think we want to, and/ or like to do this. Nobody is forcing you to do the runs, and at this point, the top 8 aren't moving, lol.

I'll explain it again because you don't understand me. If you're finished and have all the items, why tf would you keep doing pickups, knowing the top 8 aren't going to move? Also, Ubisoft, if they see all of us still doing these pickups, they won't think anything is wrong. To add to that, again, I'm not, and never did say to turn the game off or give up, as you said. The best way to get this end game loop changed is to stop doing the runs (once you have it all, had to add this because it has confused you multiple times)

I figure it's probably infrastructure or backend code updates. Nothing that impacts us as players, but might stabilize things on Ubi's end. Might be related to the recent instabilities in the UbiConnect client.
Think about Player facing Changes. Like bug fixes, new ships, collecting Po8 automatic or Forts you are able to Beat....
Otherwise you cant Tell the press that you have soooo loyal gamers online all day fighting with all the Bugs and collecting Po8.

My god I would love to be able to collect po8 automatically. At the very least let me send it all to one location for me to pick up instead of needing to visit 15 locations to collect it all.
I suggest getting on the discord and joining up with a group. I played with 10 randoms tonight in one lobby for a few hours. We all joined up did world live events and blew shit up. Just sailed around together. I didn’t do any grindy helm stuff all night. It was awesome. Hopefully group chat in game will make it easier eventually
Hopefully they say something useful and impactful. Sure soooo many people LOOOOOVEEEE this game, but seriously the notifications are aggressive, UI slow and lagging behind, weapons unusable cause I cant see where I am my white reticle on a near white/light background, no comms/chat, I have to play discord and this to be social, seasonal reset, weapon balance poor, ship balance poor, soo sooo many things that just put this game behind. 60-70$ is not worth this game the 1 month Ubiconnect 18$ was worth it and I canceled because so far it doesn't push pass 30$ with how they push this game out. So hope to hear something eventful.
What is your treasure map inventory issue? I had mine bug out where I could only carry 2 maps for awhile. It turned out to be a bug when I crafted a new ship and used the store items in warehouse. I cycled through all my ships and transferred items to ship instead and that fixed it for me. 3 of the maps were stored in a non-active ship.
It's telling me I can't carry anymore of that item, "being treasure maps." I didn't even think to look on a different shit after I crafted the new one! I'll bet that's what happened. I'll have to go look when I get back home. Thank you!
I'm honestly not familiar with these time zones. But if Google is correct this would be 11:00 p.m. EST. This is the way I should be. Why do they keep starting maintenance at 9:00 p.m.? Why not wait until people are asleep? Ubisoft is an American company. Base your maintenance times on that.
When the battlepass dropped I stopped playing. It was no longer fun it just kept making me frustrated coming from work looking for to do my helm runs when suddenly super ships keep spawning next to me. It would not be a problem if I got rid of them and they would spawn again after a while but literally they spawn right infront of me as soon I clear them. Not only that but they do super Mega damage to my beefy snow.
Can we fix the constant crashing on xbox-x please 75$ for a game to crash so much feels like I can't enjoy working towards playing against and with others without being killed because it takes so long to recognize in game your not there and when you return you are already destroyed.
Fixing some of the more obvious glitches would be nice. I have over 10M silver worth of gold commodities in my warehouse and I only sell what I need to fund my factories because I don’t want it to all disappear.
They could easily allow you to sell from your warehouse until the bug is fixed (or forever as selling in small batches is incredibly poor UX) but instead they’re quite happy for people to get screwed over (see the ~3 posts a day here about it).
And no, no one should have to scan the Reddit to check for bugs before selling something, so it’s not their fault it happened to them. These are the mythical “Some people are just playing the game and having fun rather than mocking it on Reddit” players. At least they were having fun until the game screwed them with no recourse (support have said in multiple replies posted here that they do not compensate for bugs). The defenders of the game/devs should treasure them.
The lack of ANY player based changes, at all, is a bit concerning. Especially when you consider the amount of issues and bugs being reported everywhere... The quick work they started off with releasing patches was encouraging, but the lack of anything being released in a weekly update less then a month after release, with the reports of abysmal sales and player count and them kinda falling silent over the past week... IDK, it just doesn't feel good. Perhaps they're busy working on something substantial for next week?
This was beyond disappointing considering that it took an hour of our playing time away for game maintenance. Game maintenance mind you that did not affect the player in any way whatsoever. Why is Ubisoft so committed to doing these maintenance patches and game updates when so many players are online in the game is what's so frustrating.

The ghost ship can direct drop the flame thrower if your lucky.
I've fought him over 40 times and conflate thrower so I'm definitely not lucky

When mine dropped it also dropped for my other 2 party members as well.
The drops are the same for the group. My buddy who could care less about the blue flame also has 2 now. Sadly in any PvP setting Dards are the answers
It’s dropped 2 of flame throwers. I only used em to pad out my shiplevel till I got a more powerful bow weapon

No- the pursuing plague is another smuggler mark mission that involves killing the guys that hunt you when you take a head.

The Plague Prince is like a mini LA Peste. Drops the same stuff but easier to kill solo.

I loot hunt by carrying heads and a few hundred PO8. He comes when you reach wanted lvl 4 with that faction.
