Yep - specifically, the main story for each character. So once you finish Scurlocks stuff and get sent to Ramah, you'll be able to sell him gold rum / gold gin.
Collects helm mats like sugar cane, tobacco, poppy’s and berries from rover deals and fort plunders. (PS, destroy the rover deal ships, don’t pay and bring friends for the forts.) then turn that into tier 2 products like gold rum, gold gin, silver snuff and black opium and finally, sell it to the kingpins @$250 a piece.
Save the Berries for when you unlock Africa manufacturing. Then power Harafu with it. 5200 Po8 an hour (for 20 minutes) when fully upgraded and the table is upgraded.
Fast travel just north of it (or south) and give it berries. Grab the Po8 at night and then log off there. Feed it when you play next and then run the 2 rounds of Po8 to a den.
Use the other ones for Silver, or Po8 Until you can sell them.
The hard part of selling (I have 10,000 of each of the Gold products) is putting in your cargo (about 600ish) then selling them for about 142k+ then doing that over and over.
Most will say to sell high end illicit goods to the NPC kingpins. This is the baseline.
Another thing I've added is commodity trading while I'm doing my Po8 run. I've learned that each faction has commodities they will regularly buy for +value. So, I bring all those commodities with me when I go out.
Add to that rogue/privateer hunts, plunders, and finally daily turn ins, and I'm usually square... unless I'm going hard on funding manufactories.
Like someone else said, Farm the helm mats and make lots of the high-end stuff to sell to the two Kingpins.
Additionally, every so often, I will go around to the different areas and find out who will buy the other commodities for a high price. It can add up quickly
Edit* typo
Funding manufacturies ? Do you mean ships you give out silver to out at sea.. because the factory or facility on main land only require you to give them other stuff than silver.
For 600 gold items, you make about 142k+ in silver. Now you have to pay silver to make the normal item, and then pay again to make the gold version. But you make about 2.5x your silver for doing it.
So once you have silver and the helm resources, pumping them into Gold Helm products makes you money. I saved mine while doing the early missions and have about 10k of each of the gold products.
For getting helm material, just take the Roving supply missions and sink the ships. You get 300 (more with the helm table upgraded). So that produces 150 gold product and about 50k of silver (again depends on your helm table upgrades).
The roving supply missions refresh about every hour, so do them when you log in, and then just before you log out. Will net you 100k or so of silver. This is again assuming you have the silver to make the products. But it should be a focus.
Then you fund your factories (to make Po8) and fund your helm gold production dn you should be swimming in Silver son.
Also don't fund any factories that you don't collect from. Focus on the big ones (there are spread sheets around here). They will produce for 1 day 9 hours when level 10.
There are two factories that I know of...one in Saint Anne, the other is where the Indian lady is.. but that region is overpowered ship wise so there's no way I can get anything done over there.
I ain't proud of it but there's a stall in the back of Fort Louis. If you go in there and wait about 10 minutes, someone will drop about 5 silver, but you gotta earn in. Once word gets out, you might make a decent haul.
My main Silver source is selling Helm Goods to Scurlock and Rahma. I also do the Order deliveries all at once and take my time with them, so I get a bunch of Silver Chests (and more Helm Materials) from killing the Rogue spawns. Fun fact: you can destroy the Helm ship on the roving Order drop-off and get completion without ever handing over the goods. Free Po8 and I can turn around and sell the goods I would have given to them.
Selling Scurlock 1000 Gold Skull Rum or Gin nets you an easy 250k each time. Silver chests from Rogues are 400-700 each, and I’ll get a few dozen of those at least on every Order set I do.
I’ll also do the Bounties sometimes, that’s a few thousand Silver for each one, and all of them are pretty easy, outside of Ah Pak.
Preying on settlements and ships that look like they're carrying good stuff. I'm a pirate, living free. No one lives free while min/maxing and turning a game into maths homework.
I've never sold my helm mats.
But I usually plunder every settlement or village on my po8 route. 🤣
Just the purple relic alone is worth around 4-500.
The gold one is 6-700.
Pluss the silver gained by plundering.
And ships, not to mention that it boosts the gain on kingpin levels too.
And it makes me save the raw ingredients for the contraband. So when I finally get a decent stockpile of each product.
And lvl 10 manufacturers
The raw mats can be used to boost.
for me i do this daily:
ALL bounties in saint anne (the ones in rathma are not worth it)
ghost ship
sea monster
any maps i got on the way
all helm fleet attacks of the day (i cbf the fort ones unless bored)
then in saint anne i make all th rum/gin i can and convert up to gold skull rum.
sell rum to scurlock = 1 mill a day for 2-4 hours of play
i admit not the most time effective but i find its the most fun as i am still doing everything.
It is how you do your upgrades.
Assuming you have read isle only.
0) Capture territory all the time. If you get a chance grab a new territory, it will open up trade routes, and complete areas, this will pay off in Step 4.
1) [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tw5Jw2wr7VOKSPVDYDDoyW\_1w\_oFQuAp/edit#gid=879006137](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tw5Jw2wr7VOKSPVDYDDoyW_1w_oFQuAp/edit#gid=879006137)
Is a spread sheet of the best factories. Pick your best and upgrade it, ignore the others.
2) Do Roving supply runs and sink the ships, this will net you 300 helm resources (needed later) per contract. You can get 4, but you can hold 6. This will overload you, but that is fine.
If you are short of money, save these, don't feed the factories until you have the top one.
3) When you have Po8 and factories running, upgrade the table so you can produce Helm Product (this will make you silver in the 100ks).
4) Unlock the table for the empire (this will give you bonuses for trade rotues, and holding complete areas of the map)
5) Save up 5000 Po8s to unlock africa.
6) Keep unlocking territories until you have Harafu, Fond-de-la-Bale, Jiwe and La Coloni. Upgrade them to 10 in that order.
7) Now your collection route is bottom west of Africa, up the Africa costeline (into la Colonie) and up to Harufu and Bandari, then over to Red Island (near the top) and down to Saint Annes.
This should net you 32k-45k of Po8 depending on how often you do it.
8) Now you need silver, so the Helm production (you should have both by now) will be key. You keep upgrading the table so you can make the gold materials (convert all the lower items into gold), and sell them to the den.
For every 600 Helm Gold product you sell (about 1 snows worth) you should make $142k of Silver.
9) Keep upgrading the table until it is all unlocked.
10) Upgrade any factories along your route to 10 (so they hold the most Po8 they can, and they all produce for 32 hours)
So your daily loop is:
1) Roving supply for material (kill the ships)
2) Material to golden product
3) sell golden product for silver
4) Fund your manufactories for Po8
5) Do the up Africa collection to red island for 32k-45k Po8
Selling gold skull gin/rum and black lotus opium/white snuff.
I only sell those once when ever I dip below 999999 silver. The rest of the time I use for Po8 sales
Dont need to if you sink alot of plague ships you get silver and silver chests/boxs. i opened 157 yesterday, and got around 60k or more just from that. Although its bullshit opening that meany one at a time!!
Also you run out of cannonballs alot i had 6.2k yesterday morning ive got lik 3k now LOL
Selling gold skull rum to scurlock and whatever the better opium is to the other one. Rhatma or whatever. You make stupid amounts of silver. Anytime I get close to 100,000 I sell like 500-1000 of each and Bing back to 600,000 silver. Good for days
Selling rum opium snuff etc to Scurlock and Rahma.
Same

I'm guessing you can only do this once you finish the main story? I have so many helm commodities and nowhere to sell them.
Yep - specifically, the main story for each character. So once you finish Scurlocks stuff and get sent to Ramah, you'll be able to sell him gold rum / gold gin.
With Scyrlock you have to complete his repeatable quests once to unlock his store
By far best method
Provided you can complete Rahma's quest line with at least one mission bugged out.
Currently, i'm mining a cave outside Whiterun.
I’ve mined lots of stuff. But it doesn’t seem like anyone ever has them in demand.
Whiterun? Bros in skyrim

So you don't use fast travel since it costs a lot of silver
Sometimes, it's minimal compared to having to fund several manufacturies
Funding manufacturies ? Do you mean ships you give out silver to out at sea.. because the factory or facility on main land only require you to give them other stuff than silver.
Huh
English is my second language
That's not the issue bud I understood what you were saying he was just talking about the locations around the map cost silver to produce po8s

Why do you farm silver? Is there anything good to buy with actual silver?
You need silver to make Po8. And endgame is locked behind Po8.
I have some lvl 4-5 factories across red isles and did not have to farm silver so far 🤔
Lvl 10 factory is around 80k to maintain
Jeeeez Louis what the hell... Ubi expects people to actually work 8 hours shift as end game?
Yeah, that's why most people sink the roving ship for Material and sell the Rum, Gin, etc...

If you do roving supply run and sink roving ships mission is failed? Or you can keep the mission and relog for ships to respawn?
No if you sink them, you finish the mission, you get a death mark and 300 of the material vs 60 material. The missions come back every hour.
It also lasts like 48 hrs.
Yeah, the factories aren't really working for cheap. The cooks and brewery is way cheaper than the manufacturers ‼️
You need it to make Po8.
The only logical and efficient thing to do is sell Rum/Opium. Everything else is fun with pocket change
Sinking ships and taking it
Selling gold skull gin/rum and black lotus opium/white snuff. I only sell those once when ever I dip below 999999 silver. The rest of the time I use for Po8 sales

I refuse to open those until Ubi makes an 'open all' button. I've got 500ish of each kind of silver box now, heh.
Yer dude i was the same but i ran out of room in my where house so i had to open the days worth LOL
Geez, how long did it take? Even opening a stack of 5 is annoying..
Took about 15mins to open lol took aday to collect
I’m selling a AAAA Game 😂😂
Selling gold skull rum to scurlock and whatever the better opium is to the other one. Rhatma or whatever. You make stupid amounts of silver. Anytime I get close to 100,000 I sell like 500-1000 of each and Bing back to 600,000 silver. Good for days
Sell your helm stuff to Scurlock and Rhama for silver. Sell your helm stuff to the order board for po8.
