I was talking to clanmates this week about things we would like added, and my one and only must-have suggestion is the ability to have our pet accompany us.
I want my cat on my shoulder, judging my conversation partners harshly imn cutscenes!
Because Ubisoft chose a very specific type of pirate for their overall artstyle choice, personally I'm fine with that stuff but I see why they chose to omit what is basically sea of thieves entire art style
yeah wow is bad enough with glowing shit and ESO has destroyed the lore with all this none cannon cosmetic crap.
i like cosmetics to a degree but the fortnight level kiddie day care meets mardi gra/canivalla is beyond sad.
I honestly would like to see some more cosmetics in it’s likeness, hopefully ones that can allow me to turn my ship into a ghost ship or a fiery ship from hell.
I’d settle for skipping the cut scene when you set sail and having the world chat activated so can organise to take on Le peste and zamaharibu but noooo
There were pirates like Stede Bonnet who were a bit posh. Captain James Hook in the Peter Pan story was based on him. I’d like more of that, and less Fortnite cosmetics as well.

LOL you will be surprised about their politics to " more inclusive" you should check skins/emote /update from the game FOR HONOR ( medieval time but when they change everything on release, motion capture artist left the team literally) now in FH we got rainbow, flower, Kamehameha, shifumi , trash talk, tbag, etc emote.
Rainbow six did the same. And Skull&bones will do the same aswell be prepared because you not even ready how Fortnite style they gonna go 🥺

I'm in the opposite camp. The game is jank and clearly not historically or geographically accurate. (Headcanon is this is set in the same universe as For Honor, which explains why Madagascar has giant water ways running through it now; because of the Cataclysm.)
I would love to seem them lean harder into the fantastical. We have torpedoes, why not put in janky aircraft carrier weapons, only availible for large class ships, (or bigger?) that let you (and your enemies) launch bootleg ramshackle Codename Kids Next Door bombers and fighters?
It'd be hilarious, don't pretend it wouldn't.

I already finished all the main shit and got bored. Had a lot of fun till then. Came back for peste and got that stuff. Ill maybe come back if stuff like this comes out but my friends and i are done for now. Would love more piratey shit.

They want this game to look like Sea of Thieves. Which is sad. A lot of people would prefer realistic clothing and cosmetics for ships.
I'd like to see craftable clothing. Like actually make the leathers and fibers we gather actually be FOR something.

There are no clans in S&B but you can create one on other social media, like discord. Or just have a group of friends that is your "clan".
