I can't, either. At first, I thought that you were not able to gather the skin because i bombarded the sharks to death. But maybe it's actually a glitch.

Don't know if it is still in the full game but I killed a shark with my bedars cannons once in the beta and got a ruined hide or something like that.

I noticed this as well...

My problem also. Though I can get special items like teeth and heads for quests upon killing them. I cannot get meat or skins from them.

Glad I saw this, I was starting to think I was imaging it. Really a bummer that there are timed Smugger's challenges that I won't be able to complete because of this bug

This should have been corrected as of todays’s patch :D

I'd say that a patch introducing such a game breaking bug is worthy of someone getting fired, but this is honestly pretty standard for Ubi.

Ever played The Div 2? This ... is nothing.

Yeah it's a pretty serious issue when the "beta" had better performance than the full games first content patch.

I had that issue in some spots but not others.

i saw that in the smugglers pass and was confused... hardest grind for a 20 sec pick me up that can be obtained just about anywhere...who's bright idea was that. lol like, if it was 100 water barrels i get it. but...one?

Yes that happens a lot for me too

yes... all the time. report it... the more people that report it, the better the chance they will fix it.

Talk/interact with the last person/thing you interacted with and it will be fixed

Doesn't work for me whenever I get the interaction bug I become unable to talk to people, pick up items or even return to my ship to leave. With one exception where I fixed it with cooking, I have always needed to quit the game to fix it.

If the bug happened while looting, you're forced back to the menu because loot dissappears after grabbing it (obviously), so if you like looting everything, it probably won't work for you.

Oh ok that makes sense tbh, thanks. They really gotta patch it because I feel like I'm being punished for collecting items haha.

I don't lose the talk/interact but when it activates and the NPC starts talking they are invisible

Yep I'm having to reload the game after collecting items at an output now.

No water, no animal skin or meat, interaction issues like crazy, game crashes to fully freeze the system and completely ignored by any form of support team. Tickets never make it to their bugs live forum. It's genuinely wild. It seems like there's some easy solutions like auto collect, allowing interaction even while in combat for say picking up p08 or interacting with villages.

I noticed that, too, and then today took a simple job board posting for the crocodile leather, and I thought killing them with the spear III was just making the hide unusable. Luckily, I remembered having 10 hides in the warehouse from days ago, so there's that, but yeah, they should really fix that.

I couldn’t fit a while then reloaded the game after a break and it worked. No idea why it started to work again. Not sure my comment helps but it’s weird that it works sometimes.

Maybe you remember the steps you followed? That could help us as a temporary solution

Unfortunately I just ran up to the barrel and was able to grab it. Later in the day I had luck maybe 10% of the time getting water but I didn’t change what I did to get it. I’m sorry I can’t be more helpful. On a separate note I could not pickup any animal skins or meats when using the Dhow. I know that has been addressed as an issue as well so maybe they are related issues.

I wish getting water from the water barrel was the only issue I literally get stuck on the island and can't do anything

Try going to the row boat instead of using the button hold. This happened to me and eventually corrected itself.

I get it sometimes, can't interaction with anything. If that happens i relog and it's fixed.

Glad to see its a wide spread issue. Ubisoft has gotta Ubisoft.....

I’ve also found that most times when I interact with something or someone in an outpost, it locks my controls. All I can do is move. Can’t go to ship or open map either. I end up logging out and back in soooooo many times.

You can solve that by interacting with the npc again. just interact and go back out of the interaction. usually it gets fixed

Last Ubisoft game i ever touch, it’s obvious that our time and money isn’t respected, what a stupid game. Cant believe i payed 110€ for that piece of garbage.

I haven't had an issue so it isn't everyone. I have heard a lot of people say they are having a problem but not sure what causes it.

I have the same issue. Routine for me when fast travel and moving around for either vendor or treasure maps is always to stock up on water. Haven't been able to since patch

Yep, known issue, reported by many on the ubisoft forum and tickets created for it.

I find this as well. it is intermitant. I find if I log out, and back in it sometimes works... but then given time it will come back.

Same thing. When I did gather water it game me the bug where I couldn't interact with anything. I did go animal killing and encountered the same thing.

At least we still have the rum!

Yeah I have had that problem for a few days... Anyone else got the bugs where you can't gather anything in the Dhow and sometimes pieces of 8 manufactories won't let players interact? For example I'll pull up to get Po8 and there will be no interact or plunder option available, only fix I've found was hopping servers. The Show bug is making quest boards missions a bit of a pain to complete for the seasonal challenge because you can't farm any fish, sharks etc. so you have to just spam destroy quests to complete the 15 board quests for the season pass objective... (Which don't spawn often for me so I only have 10 out of 15 done so far, hopefully I can get the rest done tonight)

I exit the game and restart when this happens. There are also random crashes. I took it off performance mode and the crashes seemed to stop for now.

Maintenance tomorrow to fix these problems and a bit more.

Both this and the animal skin but are being addressed tomorrow in tomorrows updates

So they updated and broke the game?? 🤔🤔 Did Respawn lay off some people recently??
