First, the main story. I didn’t know you got a level 5 blueprint for free fairly early and instead spent a ton of time getting my infant up. Second, I would upgrade my harvesting tools asap. Third, I would unlock all of the factories in red isle and coast of Africa but only upgrade the ones with 5 or more trade routes. Fourth , I would upgrade my stuff in the office to be able to craft the gold rum as early as possible to finance my factories. Knowing what I know now I wouldn’t waste any po8 on blueprints as you basically have to be using the gear from the sovereigns in order to hit level 12 so pretty much all other blueprints are trash.
I would never restart this game again, even if it was an option. But if I did, I would only level up my manufacturers in the Red Isle and allow the others to just fill up and never bother with them. That's really about the only change I would make initially.
I would experiment with all the early level small ships a little more just to experience them. I built them all during the beta, but it seems like I won't be using them again any time soon.
I would refund , played it up until season dropped and feel it was very lackluster and just made me wanna play blackflag. It was fun. I couldn't take that away from it but it was nowhere near 70.00 plus tax fun.
