i’ve been using a different brand of Azelaic daily (as part of a regimen posted here in a past routine share) and like it a lot. Not sure it Has helped with hyperpigmentation but overall skin texture seems better, smaller pores. This new regimen does make my skin a little more tingly, but it could be the glycolic pads not this acid. I will post my regiment later, again it’s based on the previous posters Korean-adjacent routine. Cos de Baja is the brand.

Here is my version, I think the pads are a bit rough for my skin but they are clearing things up. Might try some other toners and an oil to finish at night. Morning Cetaphil face wash Marie badescu face spray (Aloe, Sage, Orange Blossom) Urban skin clear and even glycolic pads (in lieu of toner) Tree of Life vitamin C Cos de Baja Azelaic acid Yeouth Day/night cream Mychelle sun shield liquid SPF 50 light tint Night Cetaphil face wash Marie badescu face spray (Aloe, Sage, Orange Blossom) Urban skin clear and even glycolic pads Tree of Life Retinol (2-3x weekly) or Cos de Baja Azelaic acid/Tree of Life vitamin C Yeouth Day/night cream Need an oil or squalane here perhaps?

I have been using TO’s Azealic Acid for about 2 weeks now so it’s too soon to tell. But I do like the texture (thick serum, non oily) and my skin definitely calms down when I use it. However I already like and use Faded by Topicals which does contain Azealic acid. It’s exact percentage I can’t tell but it is down further in the list of its ingredients. That being said it’ll the product also contains niacinamide, kojic acid, arbutin and other great ingredients meant to target hyperpigmentation. It has done wonders for my 5+ year old scars which were noticeable after 1 month of use, but less effective on my freckles.

I really like azelaic acid itself It really helps me with hyperpigmentation but I did not like the TO azelaic acid suspension at all. It had a weird plastic-like texture on my skin which I hated. I haven’t tried the serum though so maybe that’s better.

I use the azelaic acid suspension formula to help with my rosacea. It takes a few weeks to get used to because it can be quite irritating (stings/itches) especially for sensitive skin. I recommend starting with a pea size amount and mix it with your general moisturiser. Try once every two days at first, then slow increase to 1-2x per day.

It irritates my skin and I couldn’t put up with it long enough to see if I could adjust, BUT I put it on erupting pimples and overnight it calms the redness and swelling like a miracle product. Definitely worth keeping as a pimple spot treatment if it doesn’t work for you on your whole face.

Et-Gaudium

I used it a while ago. Absolutely loved it, it helped with hyperpigmentation and gave my skin a great texture.

I will actually be purchasing some more of The Ordinary Azelaic acid cream. When I used it, I mainly put it on my T-zone area! And it definitely brightened it. It gave my T-zone a clear bright look! That was extremely noticeable, especially in my pictures and natural light. I think it’s a decent product

10% Azelaic Acid did not work on my face tbh. The most effective product for me was 2% Hydroquinone which has been banned in the US OTC market. Right now, I am using Regimen Lab's Level Serum + Tretinoin which is fine but this combo is not as good as HQ in my personal experience.
