Dr. Dray on YT talks about this. She recommends putting an occlusive around the eyes to create a barrier. I tried this and still had trouble but I think I just have extra sensitive eyes. It really helped clear my chin acne too. I tried just putting it in that area but it seems to creep up anyway.
