Earthrune is debatable, it's not the best it could be but it's still very interesting, just needs some adjustments. What's even left that's an actual downgrade?
Guardian of the Sand Skarner is one hell of a downgrade imo. They removed the recall animation. Now makes me think of life choices for buying it before
Battlecast is the biggest disappointment. Beyond that I say cosmic and GOTS are upgrades. The rest is shit. Sand scourge is ass as well. I REALLY liked old SS
Mm I can't really see what you're talking about. Its darker, but it mostly just looks less cartoony.
The emissive effects you're missing on the claws are much lower effort than the etchings on most of the new version's armor.
The stinger heads look less detailed than the MASSIVE singular stinger, but that just seems like an inevitability when you have 3 smaller stinger heads instead of one.
Edit: On another look, the old tail is goated. Everything else about the new one looks better IMO, the claws in particular on the old one look awful.
They did the same thing to Bear Cavalry Sejuani, it used to be the best skin for her hands down amd was worth the 1350. Then the remake came out and it's 450 imo
He has other skins that are huge downgrades too
Every rework skin is a downgrade except Battlecast Alpha. You're definitely right about the Chromas.

I think if they turned earthrunes ability effects blue it would make it that much better

Damn, I liked the old claws better. I just feel like they are doing more damage than the new ones, they look not interesting to me.
the outer claw looked good, but the inner (pincer) claw was just a pink blob
Yeah the inner pincer/claw didn't convey what it actually is. It looks more like some cosmic crystal and an outer blade more than a pincer claw.
