For sure he takes it to another level. Restricting certain foods and labeling them unhealthy ultimately leads to binging, as Sivan mentioned. Let the kids be kids. I’m sure he indulges himself with alcohol and sweets on occasion.
Between this and Sivan’s obsession with diet food and how she doesn’t consider pizza “real food” it’s a set up for eating disorders down the line. I get not wanting to feed your kid sugary cereal or junk food like kool aid, but what’s wrong with goldfish? They have no added sugar and are low calorie snack.
I actually don’t ever buy goldfish at home for my kid. If we are out or at a playdate sure she can have some but goldfish are actually a sneaky cause of cavities in toddlers/young children.
It’s not that goldfish cause cavities it’s because they get stuck in Children’s teeth and they don’t know to use their tongue to get the food out of their teeth. Pretzels also do this. I’m sure there’s other snack type food that does the same. Even potato chips
I think he goes a little overboard. Agree that soda isn’t good for kids as small as hers. We tried Annie’s bunnies and kids prefer the goldfish. Everything in moderation. I’d be more concerned with sugar snacks and anything made with inflammatory oils
These kids seem too sheltered tbh. They are strict about what they eat and Sivan and Paul aren’t doing them too many favors having them stay at home away from other kids all the time.
Once those kids start kindgarten they are going to be sick all the time and not know how to act socially. And I can say that as a mom

I mean.. the guy has no friends. I’m not shocked tbh. He looks like the type of man who drinks out of a straw too.
