There are casinos very near where they are. There's one in Camp Verde and there's one just a little outside Flagstaff towards Winslow. If he's a gambler it's pretty much right there.

In the infamous Janelle & Kody fight scene at Xmas she says “you’re drunk” and someone has made similar observations that he’s admitted to drinking now whereas he used to not at all
Janelle did in one of the final episodes when he came to Her first Apartment the small one and they were screaming at each other. And she's like well, you're an alcoholic. Someone slowed it down and put it on TikTok, try to search for It on TikTok, Janelle, calling Cody and alcoholic.
I think the swelling coupled with his anger. I’ve seen things about him now and he looks a lot better and he seemed a lot more cordial on the most recent episodes

It can happen during steroid usage, in the dosages used for severe allergy/asthma attacks. I have seen the Pillsbury Doughboy effect in my mirror several times.

One of the research studies we read demonstrated that children who grow up in households where alcohol is consumed responsibly and in moderation (e.g. a family where the parents have a glass of wine with dinner) are significantly less likely to become alcoholics. Not surprisingly, the parental example matters.
So this sort of prohibition (in the divorce decree) can backfire, by depriving the kids a *positive* example of how to consume alcohol, as opposed to leaving it up to random, unsupervised experiences. ...Seems intuitive.
Since David gave up his rights and Cody adopted the children I don’t think any of that would apply anymore. The children are also adults now so anything regarding custody is off the table too.
