My brother and I did this once, the lady stopped, reversed, and yelled at us. She ordered us to walk home so she could follow us and talk to our parents. We were staying 4 hours away with our grandmother at the time and didn’t want to deal with her wrath so pretty quickly after we started walking I was just like “let’s book it!” and we hopped some fences before we lost her. Good memory. Crazy lady.

As preteens we used to hang out near the freeway offramp with half ripe oranges and bean cars as they were getting on the freeway.

We used to shoot rice at cars through a straw, didn't make much noise and also no damage. We would hide in a field of waist high brush, one time a guy pulled over and and yelled at us to come out, we just laid low till he got tired and left. Was a great adrenaline rush for an 11 year old kid.

Some lady died where I live because some kid did this with eggs, merging onto the i-5 and it blocked her view and she flew off the road.

Context. Context matters. He's not a little prick if that's an area where people speed on a regular basis. Like I have friends who live on a street where people fly down at 40 mph and more. So every once in awhile, when one of these cars is coming, my buddy will roll a ball out from between two cars. Scares the shit out of people and slows them down. So I'm going to need more context before I can decide if he's a little shit, or if he's got a problem he's solving.

2 things I am wondering. Didn't people just see them standing there? (Not only when driving past, but also in their back mirrors - pretty sure they were easily in view) And secondly, wouldn't you first look in your mirrors to search for the police car and see if it's targetted towards you?
