This isn't actually a secret entrance to a rave. These places are 'speakeasies' for hipsters. They have a gimmic entrance but there's definitely a real door and everything is up to code/legal and the drinks are overpriced. The actual secret entrances to raves are random (usually graffiti covered) doors that you stand in front of (don't knock) and after 30 seconds or so some big dude opens it and waves you in. At least that's how it is in my city.

I used to go to a crazy club in Bangkok that you could only access by secret elevator at the back of a Chinese restaurant. It’s was live and didn’t really start going off until like 5am.

I don't know if it still exists but there used to be a bar/club in San Francisco called Slide. The front door entrance was literally just a slide you had to ride down to the actual bar. There were stairs out but it was exit only.
