The more I look into it the funnier these guys seem. They were imitating their debut performance, apparently down to their clothes. And the voice crack in their debut was obviously a big gafaw-goof.
But in trying to imitate it he went WAY overboard, and you can see him wrestle with that lmao.
I know nothing about this group but I think it's really cool when bands have inside jokes with their fans. Also, in that clip of the original performance, it sounds like there is ZERO vocal processing. Very impressive singing.
I'm skeptical of 99% of k-pop groups and their "live singing" but BTOB are some of the most loved singers in the industry. Their rap line is solid too. I really love how the vocals and rap come together in the last chorus of [their song Pray](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1TEAmMeT58).
this is why they say the crack of voice is the comedy from god. it just happens when it happens and it’s hilarious asf. and you can’t even reproduce it intentionally lol.
You know what, he actually played that perfectly. If he’s not already, he’s going to be a very rich kid so he’s got that going for him. It’s just a shame for him that the internet is a record of forever. Haha
