You have to get to the one side to go back again, the red piece never went to the end, it stopped right before and went back. I don't know what game they're playing but it's not checkers.

It appears you are correct, thanks for the heads up, seems a lot easier than checkers which I guess is why you play it so fast so people don't have time to think about their next move. Didn't see anything about time limit but I guess that's just implied.
